Dear [redacted],  Thank you for the opportunity to respond privately to the complaint from [redacted], ID [redacted]  For reference, Tribeca...

Skin Center is a medical and cosmetic dermatology office, has been in business for almost 15 years, and has had over 95,000 different patients walk through its doors. This is the first complaint notice we have ever received from the Revdex.com.  We are a physician’s office, and we pride ourselves on providing excellent care to our patients and a great place to work for our employees. [redacted] requested a cosmetic treatment for her dark circles under her eyes, which she said bothered her. Her doctor discussed the options with her and they decided to go forward with the V-Beam laser procedure for $400. Her doctor told her that it was possible to see no results from the initial treatment and multiple procedures might be necessary.  These points are clearly noted in the first three sentences on the consent form attached, signed by [redacted].  When she was dissatisfied with the immediate results, she refused to come back in for her follow up (at no charge) so she could have another treatment and/or discuss other options. Instead, she initiated 2 chargebacks through [redacted], both of which we successfully reversed. We are not magicians. We are doctors. We care about [redacted]’s health and happiness with her skin. Despite her complaint to the Revdex.com, her scathing public [redacted] review and her chargeback attempts (which have cost us $50 in fees), we would still be willing to see her in the office for her follow up. Best, [redacted] Tribeca Skin Center [redacted]

Dear [redacted],   Thank you again for the opportunity to reply to  [redacted]'s comments, complaint ID [redacted]   From [redacted]'s more recent comment to the Revdex.com, it seems that now the thrust of her complaint is that the treatment she decided to have after consulting with her physician was not appropriate. Please note that [redacted]'s physician is Board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and an Attending at [redacted]. Tribeca Skin Center has offered the V-Beam Laser treatment for over 10 years and we are well versed in the laser's abilities and limitations.   V-Beam laser is used to treat vascularity and blood vessel issues. Increased vascular congestion under eyes is known to be a cause of dark circles under the eyes. As a result, V-Beam laser has been effective and safe for many patients as a beauty treatment under eyes.   As far as [redacted]'s statement that Tribeca Skin Center isn't "reputable," please see the email correspondence leading up to [redacted]
[redacted]'s cosmetic treatment, as documented in [redacted]'s chart. (I have not included the notes from her in-office visits on 4/**/15 and 5/*/15 to protect her patient privacy.) As you can see, we answered all her questions respectfully and thoroughly via phone and email. We eventually suggested [redacted] consider canceling the treatment, as we sensed that [redacted] was not entirely comfortable with it. While her physician was just trying to help guide her decision making, she complained in her public [redacted] review that we were "rude" by offering this suggestion.   [redacted] refuses to come in for her (free) follow up. She was told that multiple procedures might be necessary and no results were guaranteed, as stated in the consent form she signed. (Attached here again.) We have done everything we can to help [redacted]'s happiness with her skin, as we do for all our patients.  We are aware a few patients have unreasonable expectations as to how much better a treatment can make them look.   Please confirm receipt of this email.   Sincerely, [redacted]   Tribeca Skin Center   212-334-3774
