Revdex.com spoke with Tim R*** he stated the flooring manufacturer's representative met at your home last week and samples of the floor were taken for testing to determine the cause of the problemTim R*** also stated the cabinet manufacturer replaced the original cabinet with a new
cabinet at no additional charge to consumer

My wife and I contracted with TRICH SERVICES, (Tim R***, owner) for a kitchen remodel February of last year (2016)They starting laying new laminate flooring and I immediately noticed uneven joints vertically and pointed this problem out to the contractor's installerHe said he had an adhesive that would fix the problemIt did not but he continued laying the rest of the flooring resulting in numerous additional uneven jointsI brought this problem to Tim R*** attention as wellI have complained to Tim numerous times since and he has not corrected the flooring problemHe referred the problem to *** *** at *** where he purchased the flooring material because Tim was claiming the problem was with the flooring manufacture*** filed a claim with the flooring manufacturer who, a month later, denied the claim stating the flooring had not been properly installedTim stated he was going to appeal this denial and I have not heard anything from him since early December

I was present at the inspection and I agree with most of the information stated other than the installation process and methods I think and feel it is all a matter of interpretation and also with all of my professional experience and past jobs and floors installed, it is very common to install the flooring under the cabinets and I have not had this issue prior with any other floors or jobs with floating floors or non floating. My installation is fully subcontracted out and I will be in touch with the installers and I also plan on appealing the outcome of the report that the issue is ALL installation error As a business we will do all we can to make the customer happy and hopefully resolve the issue and come to some type of agreement This is a process and we are working with a job that has been complete for almost a year now We will be in touch with everyone asap and get the process started to find resolution for all

We have contacted our installer and also their insurance company as well our business attorney for review also. We are working on gathering our own facts about this floor and product as a manufacture and we disagree that it is fully a installation issue only. We do NOT want this to happen again after we would replace any of flooring and still have the same issue. We have already found online a large amount of complaints with this brand and floor with the same issues. Before we agree to anything we want to know all the facts not just the one sided version of the manufacture and a 3rd party inspector they provided.  I have reached out to the customer to schedule a meeting and discuss in person all of the actions and process now moving forward. They have given me some dates and we will soon be meeting. It is in all of our best interests to make sure this is all done right and correct and what is truly wrong. We have every intent to do what we can and will to make things right with the customer and hopefully make them happy in the end.

I am rejecting this response because: I have responded by E-mail to Tim R[redacted], owner of TRICH SERVICES, two or three times regarding a possible meeting time and have not received any reply. I also stated in the E-mail that I checked with the flooring manufacturer's inspector, Mr. [redacted], for his recommendation as to what needs to be done to fix our flooring problem and he stated the entire floor except under the cabinets needs to be replaced which is what I thought. I related this to Tim as well. I also stated this would need to be performed at no additional cost to us since we already paid to have the floor properly installed, which it was not done. I have requested for about the last ten months this needed to be done to no avail.

I am rejecting this response because: In my opinion this just another delay tactic by the contractor which he has been doing all along. He first had [redacted] with [redacted] file a claim with the flooring contractor which, based on a few pictures Tim R[redacted], our contractor, took of the flooring problem, they rejected stating then, sometime in June, the pictures showed the flooring was not installed correctly. Tim told [redacted] he was going to dispute their rejection. I didn't hear anything from him again until January 18, 2017 when he had the flooring contractor send an inspector, a Mr. [redacted], to our house to inspect the flooring. Again, the conclusion of the inspector was the flooring was not installed correctly. Tim has said, again, he does not believe that. This has been going on close to a year and we would just like the flooring we contracted and paid for. Regards,
