them effective immediatelyWe will no longer send these post cards to Mr*** or to anyone elseTheir sole purpose was to reach out to homeowners and prompt a response to see if they are interested in selling their house, but clearly they can be perceived differently by some people and we absolutely do not want to be known as that type of businessFor what it is worth, I want to state for the record that I am confident that everyone that we have done business with would be a positive reference for us if called uponWe got in this business to help people get out of bad situations, not to hurt themI thank Mr*** for bringing his concerns, and I want him and everyone else in the community to know that we take feedback seriously and will always take the necessary course of action to do what is right. While I can certainly understand and respect where Mr*** is coming from, I disagree that our postcards could be considered predatoryBy no means are we trying to trick or force someone into selling their homeWe provide a valuable service to a small percentage of property
owners that for whatever reason cannot or do not want to sell on the open market, and we have plenty of testimonials from satisfied clients to back that up which you can find posted on our website. When the homeowner does call the number listed on the postcard, they are greeted by a pre-recorded message that details how our system of buying houses works, including the pros and cons of buying from us vslisting on the open marketWe announce at the very beginning of the recording that the purpose for the postcard was to see if we could buy their houseThey can hang up at anytime, leave us a voicemail at the end of the recording, or even send a text message. There are no pressure tactics, claims, or other predatory practicesWe cannot and do not pressure anyone to sell their homeThe postcards are just one of many ways that we put ourselves out there to local property owners in an attempt to garner a response and interest in our service. We do appreciate Mr***'s feedback and have removed his property address from our mailing list, the same as we do for anyone that requests to discontinue receipt of our mailings or implies that they have no interest in selling.
