There are several issues with this company. The first being the customer service. You can sign up for this meal delivery plan online and there are options to do a live chat, email, or “talk to a real person”. Unfortunately when you try to use any of these options in order to get assistance with issues at hand no one is available. Messages pop up saying that someone will be with you within the next 12 to 24 hours and no one ever calls back. Not only have I had issues with the contents of my delivery but I have also had one order be missed completely so now I’m behind an order and also I have an order that came that isn’t even the right order. I have tried to email, I have called and left messages with their voicemail that gets connected immediately. I have also reached out through *** and their live chat option.. all to no avail.
We pay a considerable amount of money every week for two meal options to be delivered. I genuinely feel like we are getting scammed out of money and this needs to be reported immediately. There is no way to cancel an order on their site or on the app. This is very concerning considering how much money is going out of our account every week. We need this addressed right away please.

Hi ***,

I am very sorry for the delay in this reply! I checked our records, and I do see that you had connected with us back in March, and it looks like my colleague, ***, helped deactivate your account. As of now, no future orders are scheduled.

Please feel free to reach back out to us via email at ***, or phone, at ***, if there's anything else we can help with!

Horrible customer service! Avoid this meal service at all costs. Signed up for weekly deliveries and received the first week as scheduled. Deliveries are supposed to come every Friday. The second weeks delivery never arrived. No notification was sent advising of a shipping problem So late Friday I was left with nothing and had run to the store at the last minute. it took 2 emails and 3 phone calls on Saturday to find out it never shipped. Not shipped late, just never shipped. I was assured it would ship out Saturday. It didn’t. So back to the store to buy more food. I spent more time on the phone and email with a rep who guaranteed the problem would be fixed and fresh food would ship out ASAP. As of Wednesday nothing has shipped and they no longer answer their website chat or customer service number. Emails received automated response. I can only surmise they have gone out of business or they are a fly by night service. Don’t be fooled by their promises on their website. Check *** etc and you will see tons of similar reviews. My issue was not a “one off” as they tried to tell me but rather their usual way of doing business

I signed up for this service and
decided to stop using it, but the
company makes it incredibly hard to
cancel. The information to cancel is hard to find
and then you are required to call a number. I
ended up skipping deliveries for
months and just got shipped a
delivery because it didn't save my
skipping the week.

I have been a subscriber of Trifecta food delivery service since November of 2019. While there food is great, their logistics/delivery mechanisms are horrible and I recently cancelled with them. Summary: with the exception of the first couple of orders, every other order either was late/delayed or didn't include the appropriate amount or type of meals. During the extent of my relationship with Trifecta, I spent an inordinate amount of time with customer service trying to resolve these issues. After my latest order got delayed by 5 days, I had enough and cancelled my account (only way to to that is via customer service and not on the website). The customer service rep stated that she could not cancel nor refund the final order (to be shipped later this week) due to their 7 day cancellation policy. While I agree that they have a cancellation policy, they need a "we'll deliver what you ordered on time and in the quantity/type requested" policy ... because they clearly violated that over 6 times.

Hi ***,

We have issued you a refund for the last order you received as it did arrive late. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Trifecta advertises on it's website that the vegan meal plan offers an average of 20g of protein per meal, however the meals I received had an average of about 4g of protein. I also weighed several of the meals I received and discovered that most of the other nutrition information was completely inaccurate. Fortunately I was able to receive refunds after speaking with the customer service manager and providing pictures of the nutrition labels.

I signed up for this service and decided to stop using it, but the company makes it incredibly hard to cancel - it is hard to find the information on how to cancel and then you are required to call a number and they try to get you to not cancel. I ended up skipping deliveries for months and just got shipped a delivery because it didn't save my skipping the week. I cannot return it either because it is food.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Yes this is resolved from my perspective.

Wish I had read these reviews. Wish I had looked the company up on here before I wasted my money. Lesson learned which resulted in it sitting on the porch melting. No tracking, no help from customer service. Nothing except nearly $300 of food being picked up off the porch and trashed immediately. No care from customer support. And then when I posted about it on FB one of their workers berated me. Will never do business with them again. $300 lesson.

Horrible company ethics. I posted a comment on one of their Instagram posts warning someone else about the horrible service but they deleted it. I'll start from the beginning though. Ordered my first meal delivery about a month ago. Took a week to get it in which I understood. Upon arrival I got everything delivered correctly with my order of 3 vegan meals daily for 5 days. Second delivery was due a week later on a Friday but come Friday I got an email saying delayed until Saturday, Saturday came and got another email saying Tuesday. They apologized and said they would throw in a pound of free vegan protein. So I get my order that Tuesday and it's missing all my breakfasts and the pot that "free" protein in place of a whole meal. Contacted them and they said sorry again and they would refund my breakfasts. So now I'm on my third billing and food is scheduled to be in on Friday again. Thursday comes and they say my food will be late again so I decide I'm done and want to cancel. They apologize again and say that the third order will be refunded and will be delivered on Saturday. Today is Saturday and I just get my food and open it to find there are no breakfasts at all and instead there are only 10 meals and 9 of the 10 are just 3 meals repeated 3 times and look horrible. Overall they have no real concern with making things right. Their main concern is looking good on Instagram. The meals I got were vegan and I've eaten vegan for years and never had anything so bland and watery. All the meals are both under and over cooked at the same time. The grains (rice and quinoa) are undercooked and hard and the veggies are like they just threw frozen vegetables in the container and let them thaw. The sauces are always sour and just off tasting. There were more than half that I had to just get through in hopes that it would help on my weight loss. Bottom line is for a meal prep delivery to help you stay on track they are failing when you aren't getting meals on time or even the correct amounts of meals. They have strayed me from meal prep companies as I feel now I could be more dependable than having a company take my money and not give me what I'm ordering in the first place.

The advertising and content on the website DOES NOT make it apparent at all that customers are signing up for a weekly subscription. It is VERY MISLEADING. I went through the sign up process again after I was made aware this was weekly subscription (via a charge to my account) and at no point did it inform me that I would be signing up and charged for food on a weekly basis. I searched their website pages for somewhere to inform me that it was a subscription and I only found it in three places (places a new customer would not go).
First it was on the FAQ page but a customer would have to dig to find it using this path: FAQs-Delivery-How do I skip a Trifecta Delivery then it informs you of the instructions on where to go to do this.

Secondly, I found it under My Account but only if a customer follows these steps:
Go to My Account Page
On the left-hand side, click "Subscriptions"
Click on "View" your current Subscription
Select "Skip Weeks"
Select from the upcoming 4 weeks delivery dates to skip
Skipped weeks will turn black and the SKIP button will change to UNSKIP.

Lastly, I found the word "subscription" under the "How it Works" tab but, it does not imply that all orders are going to be an automatic subscription. It really makes it seem that a customer is making a one time food order, but can have an option to sign up for a subscription.

When I contacted Trifecta to cancel the order they had charged me for 2 hours before, they did cancel my subscription, but claimed they cannot issue a refund because they cannot take food back due to *** regulations.

In all, this is a business selling products unethically by misleading customers into signing up for a subscription. No where along the process of signing up and paying does Trifecta inform customers of the subscription or frequency of subscription. There isn't even an opportunity to select preferred frequency. This unethically misleading behavior needs to be changed and Trifecta needs to be more transparent with their customers.

I can't claim to be surprised Trifecta isn't accredited. I wish I'd done more research before creating an account. Caveat emptor, I suppose.
First, you can make a subscription but you can't count on what you ordered being what ships. For example, I subscribed to the 5-day paleo meal plan; but what was delivered was 4/5 days of the clean meal plan and 2 random meals.
You want to talk to customer support to find a way to make things right? Ha! They completely ignored my zendesk chat, and literally hung up on me when I called.
You also can't cancel your subscription from the website; they make you call the number and then just hang up on you. So, your only option for cancellation is one where they just ignore you.
Suffice it to say, they'll be getting a complaint from me filed if this is not very quickly remedied.
