Triforce Motors Reviews (6)

I would not recommend anyone going to this dealership, Ella’s Auto Outlet (previous trade name was [redacted]) located at [redacted] Jefferson Davis Highway, in Thornburg, VA. The vehicle I brought should had been send to the salvage yard. It cost more to fix the vehicle then the vehicle was worth. I believe this Dealer intentionally trick me by clearing Engine Codes on this vehicle. To me this is theft by deception.
I purchase a 2004 [redacted] with 106627 miles on 11-29-2014 from Ella’s Auto Outlet (previous trade name was [redacted]). Before I could get the vehicle to pass emission inspection, I had to spend an addition $6044.51. The total cost after repairs was $9743.51.
I rode all the way from Manassas Virginia to look at three vehicles that was advertised online. Two of the vehicles was already sold the day before at least that is what the sell person told me. I notice the vehicle that I purchase was still being advertise on their own website [redacted] as late as 12-23-2014. This is a whole four weeks after I purchased it.
The battery in the vehicle needed to be jump started before I could test drive the vehicle. Before buying the vehicle, I drove the vehicle for about 10 miles, it seems to be driving ok. But the oil need to be changed. I agree to purchase the vehicle after they changed the oil and replace the battery. Neither the battery nor the oil was changed as agree. After paying for the vehicle, I headed to my stepdaughter house. On the way there, I did not notice any problem with the vehicle, until I slowed down and the transmission needed to shift gears. At that time the shift into 2nd or 3rd gear was not smooth. The next morning I checked the oil and notice it was not changed as promised. So I went to [redacted] to have the oil changed ($45.13). I did some errands and then went back to my stepdaughter house. The vehicle set for two day before I started the vehicles again. It did not start like it should, something seem wrong. I drove it to a local garage for diagnose. The garage found an Ignition Coil was bad. I knew the Window need to be worked on when I brought the vehicle, so I had that fix too. ($595.10). Picked the vehicle up and was driving back to my stepdaughter house when I came to a complete stop, the vehicle engine die on me. It would crank and start but not stay running. I call the warranty company to tow the vehicle back to the garage. The garage mechanic could not get any reading on his diagnose machine. Since the garage did not has the machine to test the problem out, I had to pay $75.00 to get it tow to a [redacted]. The warranty company would not tow if again until 7 days from the previous towing. The [redacted] Shop said the throttle body assembly need to be replaced. The [redacted] Shop also found out the battery was faulty. I also order a second set of keys since I was only given one set. ($1288.84).
It changed gear ok when it was cold, but not after it warmed up. The [redacted] shop say the transmission need to be rebuilt. ($3417.57). I then took the vehicle for emission inspection again, it still was not ready for testing.
Remember the battery in the vehicle needed to be jump started before I could test drive the vehicle. At first I did not consider this a problem. But a dead battery will reset and turn off the Check Engine Light and clear all ODB code that would call the Check Engine Light to come on. When I first took the vehicle for Emission inspection on 12-13-2014 none of the OBD Monitor Readiness Status was Ready, so the emission testing could not be done. But the follow code was recorded [redacted] and [redacted]. I took it back on 1-27-2015, all the OBD Monitor Readiness Status was Ready but the vehicle fail emission due to [redacted] and [redacted].
It cost be another $1622.92 to replace the two Catalytic Convertor, so the vehicle would pass emission.
This Vehicle by [redacted] value was around $3,695.00.

Review: Repair, Refund, Sales and Service Issues. I Went to Tri Force Auto Sales April 27,2013, after an hour I came across a 2000 [redacted]. It was test driven and heard noise from under the hood. The salesman said it would be fixed upon pick up along with the left speaker that was broken. I returned on May 1,2013 to purchase the jeep in full. I started the car up and still heard the noise and got another confirmation that it was the fan hitting the belt that made the noise which was minor. The salesman kept fast talking me in to bringing it back next week to get it looked at once again. I took the car about 60 miles home, the next day I took it to a car shop so it could get evaluated, he reported that the noise came from the engine and it was knocking hard. I reached out to Tri Motors a salesman said bring the car tomorrow and some one will look it. So May 3, I returned there with the [redacted] not knowing I had to leave it there for about a week. The salesman fast talked me I signed a paper and he left with out giving me any paper work, so the manager had me sign another one. The [redacted] has been in there care since Friday May 3, it's now May 19 and heard nothing from them, I called twice and they said its getting looked at. I still haven't received my title since purchase date. They kept the [redacted] a whole week before taking it to there personal shop. Lack of communication and customer services skill. I called and left two messages and heard nothing back.Desired Settlement: I would just like 5,279 dollars back in full, thats the amount I paid for the [redacted]. There's nothing on Tri motor lot I want. I drove 60 plus miles to get there and another 60 plus miles to get home. Wasted gas money and put extra miles on my mothers car.

Review: Dear Complaint Center,I [redacted] purchase a [redacted] in June, made payments and paid in full on July 6, 2013. To date I have not received the Title to the vehicle. The Manager ** has not been returning my call. My paper tags expires July 31, 2013 and I am unable to get resolution or additonal time for my paper tags unless I go through **, whom I have not been able to contact or reach. I will be without driving until the Company issue me the Title of the car. I have had the car repaired for inspection and now is unable to register the car until I receives the Title.Desired Settlement: I want the Title to my car ASAP, before the paper tags expire.

Review: Purchased Vehicle on 5/9/13 with 90 day warranty. On 5/10/13, vehicle started smoking lightly, water light came on. Low water, coolant and oil. Filled car with fluids. Car started smoking heavily with white smoke, check engine light came on, trac on came on and temperature gage would rise slowly to highest level and drop suddenly. Called company on 5/14 and spoke with Salesman so I could return car. Was told don't have return policy and I needed to call warranty company. Called warrany company and was told warrany was not yet active. Took car to maintenance shop on 5/17 to see what was wrong. Mechanic indicated cracked head gasket, water in sparkplugs and busted hose. Called and talked to owner on same day and stated warranty not yet active and car had major issues. He stated " the warrany is in the mail and I will contact you on monday or tuesday. Called warranty company on 5/22 to see if activation had take place. Was told since something was wrong with car, they could not approve. Customer Service had indicated on file that something was wrong with car when I called first time. Company sent policy and money back to company. I have not heard from [redacted] who is non responsive to phone calls. This car dealership and the warranty company are fraudently promoting substandard or nonexistent products and duping consumers.Desired Settlement: Request reimbursement for parts ordered to fix vehicle return of vehicle to company and retun of down payment. If possible, request investigation of this dealership's practices for warranties and and if they are fixing cars enough to get them off the lot. If not possible, request all complaints be provided to the [redacted] for investigation and penalties for the company.
