We received a call that an appointment was scheduled for Trifound representative to come talk to us about the changes in our benefits, I asked what, they said Medicare, long term insurance, etc I said we were not interested, that if there was a change, we would be notified by mail She said they work in conjunction with the State of Michigan Never once did the person on the phone say they were a financial advisor group I said we were not interested; do not make an appointment She misrepresented what the business was about! Weeks later [redacted] and a trainee came to our home (my husband had just returned from being in the hospital) I was out at the time She told him we had an appointment We did not He told her to call me another time The card that she left said "TriFound" Nowhere on the card does it say what kind of business it is I do not like being lied to They could take advantage of people that way

We were recently visited by a Trifound representativeShe said she was here to give us information on newly revised Medicare & MedicaidI don't remember making an appointment, but she did give us the info we were expecting, plus Insurance infoShe was pleasant & knowledgeable, & we were thankful for her inputShe did try to encourage my husband to make an appointment with Trifound, re: financial advisement, but in a pleasant, unpressured manner I feel we benefitted by her visit

I have never been treated so rudely by a company that is trying to get my business and possibly stand to make quite a good commission from servicing my financial and retirement needs. I received a mailer inviting us to a seminar to introduce us to Trifound. It all sounded great so we called to accept the invitation. On the night of the seminar I left my job early to get to the presentation that night. We arrived to the location at 6:30, parked the car and walked the block to the site..which took about 2 minutes, putting us thru the door at 6:32 only to be told that we were late and rudely turned away not allowing us to enter the room where the seminar was to be held.The mailer said the seminar was at 630, that is when we basically arrived. If after the company fronted the cost of the mailer, the 7 page packet sent to inform us of the practices of Trifound, the cost of paying employees to call and confirm attendance, and the cost of running the seminar, you can afford to turn potential clients away due to a 2 minute discrepancy, you in my opinion make too much money already and I am grateful I didn't get caught up in your false hype and sign my 7 figure retirement savings over to you to mishandle and squander. Be aware of the rigid stuff shirt so called professionals that you might be working with if you decide to answer their marketing hype. VERY POOR customer relations for a company that says it is "100% committed to your best interest"
