Trinity Catholic School and Educare

Had to re-edit my review on this school. I would think twice long and hard before you enroll your child into the Educare program. We had a very scary incident take place, when my suspicions became a reality. The after care gal [redacted] had no regards to her responsibility in watching OUR children. She was out of the ZONING perimeter with her back turned to the children who were a good 40 feet away, chatting with another parent. We watched her in which she says she seen us, and that is false. A blue van pulled up, grabbed the attention of my toddler whom is very social, he runs to them,wedges himself up against the fence, within seconds my son could have been kidnapped. As a mother I took no time to think twice, drove up in my car, jumped out and hollered who is watching these children, what are you doing, you never turn your back to children. These people could have taken my son! Mind you there fence is not tall by any means. Its less than 4ft, a chain link fence, they left it unlocked. [redacted] disregarded me and ran back to act as if she had never left the children's side. She had absolutely NO REMORSE. I was very strict with her that there would be a meeting the very next morning to discuss her actions. I did so. And to say the least was treated very poorly by the school principal who addressed me as the SCREAMING parent.I defenitely put her in her place as you never address someone in that manner. I couldn't believe this was happening. [redacted] the assistant did everything she could to reassure me that this would never happen again. As she seemed to be very sincere and unhappy with the incident that took place. [redacted] was not written up. I was told they have a lot put on them going through the hiring process, etc. I simply stated I had no SYMPATHY for anyone that irresponsible when it comes to this type of job! My precious child could have been taken from me due to her stupidity. I can never trust them again. It's only when something terrible happens that anyone takes action. I pray and never wish for something to happen in order for this school to get a clue. Take the generous donation, instead of painting the inside of the school use it towards security! You obviously can't trust your employees to do there job.
