Hello,Unfortunately there was a delay to perform scheduled warranty work with the consumer because of the remote location of the jobsite Our warranty company UTS has little work available in the area to keep a technician employed and they experienced lapses in coverage however that
is no excuse for the consumer receiving incorrect information from our company We completed the appointment on 6/but unfortunately experienced additional errors and deficiencies in the material received to successfully complete the repair We will be scheduling a new appointment with the consumer once new material has been delivered.I am very sorry for the delays and difficulty the consumer has experienced trying to get their door problem resolved We will work to complete the repair to the consumer's satisfaction and will follow up with the consumer once complete to review the complete process with him.Craig M***Feather River Door

Hello, We’ve had 3 claims opened with customer [redacted] for a problem with her door. The problems have been caused by the addition of a product (Storm Door) that we do not sell and is causing damage to her Feather River Door.  The storm door she added is causing high heat buildup between...

her Feather River Door and Storm door and it is causing damage to the Feather River Door.  Damage caused by a storm door voids the Feather River Door Warranty and use is described in the warranty as well as care and maintenance instructions.  However in an effort to help assist the customer we replaced the door slab in January 2015 and explained the storm door was causing damage and she needed to keep the door vented.  Customer started a new claim in July of 2015.  The door was damaged by the customer’s storm door.  The Feather River Door warranty does not cover damage caused by storm doors, however in an effort to help the consumer we replaced the damaged components for the consumer on site.  We also explained that the storm door was causing damage and she needed to keep the storm door vented year round to try to prevent damage. Consumer started a new claim in January 2018.  The door was damaged by the customer’s storm door.  Warranty does not cover damage caused by storm doors, however in an effort to help the consumer we replaced the door slab again.  New product was shipped to the consumer’s store of purchase and was delivered on 2/1/2018. We consider this claim closed and will not be offering a future replacement in the event that this replacement door fails again. Customer should remove her storm door to prevent further damage of the Feather River Door.

Good morning,
The complaint ID #: [redacted] has not been resolved.  Feather River sent a technician to the house, but had him only look at the front door.  They need to change his work order to look at both sets of french doors.
