I should of known this was a complete joke/scam the moment the “electrician” told me to get in his truck and go to [redacted] with him so I could pay for his materials he neededI let it slide and said ok maybe this is a [redacted] thing? WrongWe come back from this weird [redacted] run and he gets workingI needed a volt outlet converted into volts for an electric dryerHe takes the entire breaker box off the wall, rips the paint off with itDoes something, puts it back onDoes something with the outletI wasn’t watching while they worked, I trusted these people I found on [redacted] *** They take all my card info down on a paper formThey leave and couldn’t give me a receipt, for reasons I now knowI wash a load of laundry in excitementI put laundry in dryer, it turns on, I press start, ITS SPARKS ONCE AND COMPLETELY JUST DIEDI checked the breaker box to later find out he never even put a double pole breaker in (which is necessary for 220+ volt) he had me buy one and never installed itHe illegally wired things behind the breaker and used hard wiring to cover the wires and put a outlet cover over itI am UNABLE TO UNPLUG the dryer because it’s hard wired into the wallI call the company times (they are 24hrs) around 6pmno ANSWER! I contacted the guy who did the work, says he has no idea why that happenedSaid he would call me back, no reply to texts or callsI reported to Revdex.com and [redacted] ***What a complete joke $laterWOW never againHe never even gave me a name, all I know is he was [redacted]  but that’s all I know about the guy, and his cell number

This was the worst service experience I have ever had, and I regret not checking Revdex.com or [redacted] before hiring them Do yourself an easy favor and hire anyone, anyone else After reading all the other reviews, I found myself nodding to every single one of them For starters they do not understand communication or any sense of urgency to providing a service in a timely manner The entire ordeal that should have taken under a week and a day and a half of work took weeks! Their communication in the office is outrageously bad You have to call and harass them just to get someone to get on the schedule to make a visit, and then they botch notifying you when they are, and you lose day after day of other work because you're waiting on them! The Communication was so bad it was as if they didnt want to earn moneySimple things like they will book an electrician, but not schedule anyone, and you end up waiting different days for someone to show Their communication both INSIDE their office and externally to customers is at an ESL level (english as a second language) The people in the office simply do not follow up with scheduling, new information on when the electrician is coming, or exact details on the job to the electrician This was a constant battle of phone calls coordinating an easy job of replacing about lines in a bedroom apartment Using Weinstein electric cost me money because of how long it took to finish the apartment renovation You know it's a really terrible operation when you call up and the person on the phone says "oh no...." after you re-introduce yourself as to say "what did we do wrong this time." After I explained my case, Jordan who is some kind of a manager, was awful on the phone and does not understand customer service You would think they offer some apology or a break on the price when all is said and done, and instead they are not even apologetic and deny doing anything wrong vehemently!! A legit business will at least tell you they will investigate, care about your business and get back to you! Do yourself a favor and take this to heart I do not waste time by writing Revdex.com posts but I had to do this for others, it was that bad

Joseph Weinstein Electric Sent an electrician to my church to give me an estimate for replacing a motor switchHe charged me up front $just for showing up(He would not even look at the switch until I paid first) He was there minutes and concluded that the switch needed replacingAs he was leaving, he said that the office will contact me on the replacement estimateNo one didI called them that afternoon and then again the next dayNothing(why would they bother when they already got paid $for minutes of nothing?) I'm still waiting on the estimate, but obviously not holding my breathLesson learned: NEVER PAY UPFRONT!

I feel financially assaulted by themI didn’t check Revdex.comAnd I needed an electrician and magically everything needed to be replaced and he left wires exposed when they shouldn’t have and now my nephew cannot sleep in his bed room and I have lights not working and scared more than ever about having an electrical fireplus wasted and now I have to find another Electrician

After an uninsured minivan crashed into my store, it was left without a storefront and with many expensive items inside destroyedA few days later, my landlord introduces me to someone who told me he could get all the things necessary for my business to immediately reopen in days because the building given a full vacate (no entry) order mandated by the cityHe then said on top of that, he could give me an estimate for fixing the entire store as wellSo I was quoted $initially to fix the entire store, but I didn't want to trust someone who I met for only a brief moment, so I told him I only wanted the bare minimum to open my store back up (thank God)And I was informed by the city that all I needed was a construction work permit, so the person said, "ok I'll get you a permit, but it's going to be $1600." On February **, 2016, Joseph Weinstein's electrician's came to my home to address an electrical issue Here is a brief summary of the issues:
*Four hours late for scheduled appointment
*Electrician focused on finding additional electrical issues & was very slow to address the work requested
*Electrician created work by tearing out electrical wiring conduits so he could re-wire a light that was not within the scope of work
*The scope of work was outlined for him, but he not finish the work within scope
*Electrician stated he was not a licensed electrician, but a journeyman He was not supervised
*Electrician (Journeyman) seemed unfit to perform the work as, at one point, he began to sweat uncontrollably and had to leave the premises for approximately minutes I believe he was high on drugs
*Electrician (Journeyman) was constantly talking on his cell phone
* Electrician (Journeyman) asked about other work to be done in my homeHe said he would charge much less tha

I was very happy with the wiring done in my homeThe electrician installed new lights, switches and outletsIt took less time than expected, and the work was very neatThe customer service I received was friendly and politeThey will be working on all of the electrical finishes during my home renovation
