Here is my experience there when my father passed away.
We go to Williams Funeral Home in Indianhead MD to discuss service. Dr. Wesley was amazing. We got everything organized there. And then went over to Trinity Memorial Gardens to discuss the burial.

So we go in a sit at the round table and are sales guy is a new guy so the manager [redacted] was going to help him. I thought that would be nice so we know that everything will go perfect. Well guess again. So let me just start off saying my sister [redacted] was doing all of the talking since she was the oldest child there. The manager kept messing my fathers name up calling him â?? [redacted]â? Everything except [redacted] which is my fathers name. And had his cell phone ringer on, and every time phone would ring he just get up and leave room. I never would expect that from a manager. Ok so there is Beauty and itâ??s quiet and peaceful there but no respect from their staff.
When you go there you expect to be treated nice since you just lost a loved one. So turns out if you go through insurance your loved one has to stay in a freezer till the check arrives. Also you have to spend more the 7k to even think about using insurance.
So we decided to go with paying by cash so I called my grandmother up and got her credit card information. And we told them that we would buy memorial outside. Manager [redacted] said, â??OKâ? in a rudely manor. And then walked out of room. So we finished everything up and the poor new guy kept apologizing for the managerâ??s actions. I told him itâ??s not his place to apologize for his bossâ??s mishaps.
My brother [redacted] used to work there years ago and [redacted] remembered his name so I just find it strange he canâ??t remember a name written down right in front of him.
So we left there and my sister [redacted] ordered my fathers memorial with â??The Headstone guysâ?. And everything was going good. Once it arrived to my house I called up to Trinity to ask when I could bring it there, and a lady on phone said â??well did you turn in the paperwork and pay the fees?â? And I asked what paperwork are you talking about? So she emailed them to me. And we started that process. Had to fax over to headstone guys so the can fill out and sign then had to track down Org owner of the lot and have him fill out and sign then I faxed over and guess what. The marker was declined. So when [redacted] originally talked to me on phone about a month ago all she said was that the marker had to be 24 by 12 or bigger and gray granite. Never mentioned anything about being bronze.
â?? The memorial must be a bronze memorial placed on a piece of graniteâ? is what she wrote in my denial email. Trinity Memorial Gardens really does not make it easy to bury a loved one. My Father died one July 30th we went to make arrangements July 31st. My father was buried August 6th. And yet he still doesn't have a marker on his grave cause it is one thing after another. If I could afford it I would move my dads burial to another grave-site. And have nothing to do with that place ever again.
