Te Per Mr. [redacted] request a detailed scope of work has been mailed on Friday, July 15, 2016. Thebco is waiting for approval from Mr. [redacted]  on the estimate for the replacement siding prior to us scheduling this service. It is agreed that upon completion of the work, Mr. [redacted] will contact the Revdex.com and update the status of this complaint with satisfied and complete.  [redacted]President

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Mr. [redacted] does not understand my concerns.  I specifically called Thebco to schedule an appointment with a Thebco representative.  I explained on the phone while making the appointment that the siding under windows appeared to either have no under sill trim or it became unattached at more than one window location.  I also mentioned that there were some other concerns, hence the reason to schedule an appointment to walk the perimeter of the house with the representative.  There was more than a single issue.Mr. [redacted] is misinformed about me not being available by phone, in fact that is a complete lie.  I never received a voice mail indicated that Mr. [redacted] had a medical appointment or even a missed call.  I am happy to provide my phone records to prove that point.Mr. [redacted] indicated that one area of siding was damaged by the homeowner.  That is also incorrect.  There is an area of siding that appears to be distorted by heat, but not damaged by the homeowner.  No, there was never a grill or other heat source located by this distorted area.  The only thing that I can think of, is the siding in question is above a window well for a basement window.  There are several documented cases of the sun rays damaging vinyl siding. Please refer to:http://www.greenbuildingadvisor.com/blogs/dept/musings/window-reflections-can... [redacted] did mention that he would have to order siding, but he never mentioned that there would be a cost involved.  I am not opposed to paying, but would like a written estimate before the work proceeds.  I filed this compliant because of the lack of communication and Mr. [redacted] reluctance to come back to my house to walk the perimeter with me.  All it takes is good communication.  For a service related company I am truly disappointed.
  Regards,
[redacted]

March 27, 2017This is in response to the [redacted] complaint number [redacted].  During our initial visit to discuss the project our field rep, [redacted], observed that areas of the interior of the [redacted] residence specific to the project were inaccessible due to collections of various items....

This made it very difficult to completely assess the scope of window project. It was discussed and clearly stated to Ms. [redacted] during this initial consultation that prior to the re-measure site visit and installation she would need to clear a 3-foot area around each window opening. At the remeasure there was no progress in clearing the agreed upon work space. It was during this second visit to the [redacted] residence that we learned there was an electrical outlet that needed to be re-located to allow for the patio door installation. At this point, our production manager, instructed Ms. [redacted] that it was her responsibility to contact an electrician to move the outlet and phone line prior to the installation. Ms. [redacted] agreed and, further, stated that she was in the trades and knew people who could assist her.  Despite this surprise, we reached out to Ms. [redacted] to discuss the preparations for the project. Once finally scheduled, our work crew arrived to find that the electrical outlet had not been moved as agreed. Immediately, our crew contacted our office and we arranged, at our cost, for an electrician to do the work so we could continue our installation. We informed the homeowner of the delay and that replacement window parts also were being expedited. The existing dryer vent was not attached to the house, but rather was routed into the patio area where a paver was cut out and a dryer vent installed. Despite this being a pre-existing condition and not part of the original scope of the project, in good faith, and at our expense, Thebco hired an HVAC contractor to correctly vent the dryer to the exterior of the home. Additionally, prior to our patio door installation a wooden 3' floor vent was present and concealed that the floor was originally cut out incorrectly. A heating contractor has verified this venting issue and has stated that nothing can be done about this pre-existing condition. THEBCO has made every effort to accommodate Ms. [redacted] requests. Ms. [redacted] has stated to me and others staff that she is pleased with the outcome of the work and wants to resolve this matter. As of March 27th, 2017, Ms. [redacted] has paid nothing towards this project. THEBCO has gone above and beyond to satisfy the homeowner with this project and we do not agree to any adjustment of the final invoice. We have offered several methods to take care of the entire balance of the contract.[redacted] J. [redacted]PresidentTell us why here...
