We called Chapman Air because our AC not running properly. Chapman Air are the original installers of our AC unit (it is a Trane). Chapman Air came out and inspected our AC. They stated that it was ONLY the compressor that needed to be replaced. They stated the compressor was under warranty and should be covered. They ordered another compressor through Trane and came back and installed it while we were not home (we were not made aware that they even came out to do this). At that time, they said they replaced a copper wire and replaced our AC with freon, which we were not told about. They then sent us a bill for $600 claiming that they replaced the copper wire and freon for the AC unit. We called and told them that we never gave them approval to do this, nor could they prove to us that they did this in the first place. We have paid the bill because we do not want to ruin our credit. This is not fair. We would have paid for the service if were told upfront that it needed to be done. But considering that they never told us, nor could they prove they did this, we don't feel like we should have to pay for that. Please help us.

Sorry but Im not sure what the people are talking about. I have all my documentation and invoices from Hunton Trane for the warranty compressor. Customer was aware that the compressor was going out. Customer was notified that the barring in compressor where going out and they needed a new compressor. contacted customer that we Ordered compressor and needed to change the compressor out. The day we had scheduled compressors to be changed customers were not available.

Chapman showed up to change out compressor and customer wouldn't answer phone. Chairmans went ahead and changed out compressor at that time trying to save customer another charge for having to come back to change out compressor.

chapmans has all the warranty invoices to prove that the compressor was changed out.

Not only do I have notes of conversations with the customer but all paper work and invoices to prove compressor was changed out.

This is SLANDER and I will be seeing this customer in court !

Customer was only charges for the parts and labor thats not under warranty.

Chapman has the decimation of serial numbers off old compressor and new compressor that was installed.

All Chapman was doing was trying to help.

This compressor was going out in the middle of summer time and Chapman was just helping to prevent people from having to go without A/C.

Slander and I will prove this.
