This business has refused to meet its stated warranty guarantee. It replaced our windshield on 11/7/11. The invoice states "we offer a lifetime warrenty [sic] on workmanship."On Wednesday, May 23, 2012, the molding peeled up from one entire side of the windshield and started slapping against the passenger window. The windshield started vibrating and I could hear and feel wind entering the car. I felt the car was unsafe to drive and in need of immediate repair.On the morning of 5/24/12, I called and asked for a repair, explaining the seriousness of the problem. The receptionist said to expect a call from the manager, [redacted], by the end of the day, and that a visit would be scheduled for "today or tomorrow."On the morning of 5/25/12, my husband [redacted] called again and was again told to expect a call to schedule the repair "today or tomorrow". No call came.At 3 pm on 5/25/12 I called again and the receptionist had no knowledge of our two previous requests. She said she would talk to her supervisor. After a few minutes, she returned to the phone and said that they wouldn't be able to do anything until Tuesday. Again, there was no scheduled time given. I said this was unacceptable, given the safety issues and the previous promise to complete the repair by today. The receptionist said that was a supervisor decision, and I asked to speak to the supervisor. The supervisor was unavailable.I called again at 3:30 pm on 5/25/12 since the supervisor had not returned my call. She was unavailable and the receptionist was unable to resolve the issue. The supervisor (business owner [redacted]) did not return my call for the remainder of the day. This business' refusal to even schedule a repair visit over the course of four phone calls, plus the owner's unwillingness to speak with me directly, shows that it is not interested in fulfilling its warranty obligation in a timely manner even though the problems caused by its workmanship and/or materials have rendered the car unsafe.
