To whom it may concern,
On 8/15/*** *** came in to look at a Durango we had for sale
During the test drive a "check gage" light came onThe salesman was unaware of why and offered a common solutionAfter the test drive, *** did not check the fluids or inspect the issue
furtherShe decided to buy the vehicle
Days after purchasing the Durango, our desk manager, Jon L***, received many calls and text messages from ***She said she was having issues with the vehicle and Jon asked her to bring it in for an inspection and diagnosisShe then text expressing the vehicle was fineShe continued driving the Durango and, as she states, continued to drive it long distances while warning lights, as well as sounds, became frequent and more persistentEven with these warnings, she continued to drive the vehicle without checking it and didn’t to bring it in to our shop, or any shop, to be checked
According to her, it wasn't until she noticed the oil gauge wasn't registering at all that she did check her fluids, added quarts of oil, and drove it againShe then demanded to return the car for a full refund and called her finance company and repeatedly cursed at them to prevent funding on the loan
Triple C Auto then had to have this vehicle picked up to be checked out mechanically because she continued to refuse to bring it inWhen the vehicle did come in to the shop, it was overfull of engine oil and needed a torque converter which has nothing to do with the engine oilNo engine oil leaks were detected at the time of inspection and the torque converter was repaired
Even though most cars are sold AS-IS, we honored our complimentary warranty on this vehicle and repaired the vehicle for herThe owner then spoke with her for the first time and let her know the vehicle was ready to be picked upShe demanded her money back
At this time, *** is financed through Triple C Auto LLC, we are not willing to refund the loan, and her vehicle is ready to pick upWe do have an arbitration agreement and would be happy to use arbitration to further resolve this issue, if neededWe have and always will do our best to take care of customers after the sale

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
Since the time of repair I was informed of a leak from the transmission but it was not severe since then with only miles put on since time of repair the transmission has leaked all fluids and upon refill still cannot move the vehicle is now sitting in my parking lot unable to moveI asked the dealership to take the car back because I am unable to afford the extent of repairs neededThe leaks were apparent before purchase so how they were isn't a lie. Sincerely,*** ***

To Whom it May Concern,
On 8/9/2016 we sold a Dodge Dakota truck to Mrs***She had been to our dealership multiple times looking for a vehicle and, after being showed many options that would work for her special financing needs, she decided to buy the
Dakota; regardless of a few cosmetic issues
The contract forms used at Triple C Auto LLC are standard Washington Law Contract and are completely legal and up to date; according to state law
We had to repossess the vehicle on 08/31/because she had not made the balance of her down payment; as agreedAfter repossessing the vehicle, the customer filed this complaint.
We contacted an insurance expert and were informed that the vehicle is, and was, insurable at the time of sale. We always have and always will try to work with our customers
At this time, the vehicle has been repossessed and we have notified Mrs*** in writing

To Whom it May Concern,
On 5/7/2016 we sold a *** *** to Mr. ***. The vehicle ran and drove well at the time of purchase.
Days later, he brought the vehicle in to our shop for a warranty repair on the axleAt that timethe CV boot was torn
The warranty does cover repairs on the axle; however, not if the CV boot gets torn. We are unaware of how the customer drove the vehicle
We did fix the CV axle at a significantly reduced cost; prior to this complaint being filed
The customer also complains of an exhaust issueNeither of these issues were apparent at the time of saleHowever, we will happily work with the customer to get the repair done at a reduced cost. Used vehicles can have issues and the continued reliability depends on how a customer cares for and drives the vehicleWe have and always will try to work with our customers

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: The issue with triple c auto has not been resolvedThe last time I talked to the owner explained that I wanted my money back the car should have had the fluids already filled and taken care of. I was told that I should have checked the fluid that it was my fault and poor maintenance on my end the moment things started acting up I should have brought the car back to be looked atI brought the car back two days later to affordable auto and I talked to the owner chuck of affordable auto and he said he couldn't get me in till the following Wednesday exactly one week later his mechanic Chris looked at my Durango put fluid in the radiator and said everything looked fine he said that with my heater not working they flushed the coolant system once and that it may needed to be flushed again that it was commonWhen I had talked to chuck the owner of triple c he told me the reason the credit company pulled out was because of my credit they were buying the carIf the credit company didn't approve of me I wouldn't have drove off the lot with the DurangoOn the third day the credit company called me and asked how everything was going with the car I told them they said they were not going to buy the car due to the issues it was having and to take the car back they were not buying itI told him that and I was told that they were going to find another credit company to buy the car other wise I was going to have to put more money down on the Durango and they were going to hold it until I paid for all the stuff they fixed on itI told I wanted my money back and I was tossing that is not how it works and you will not get it backAll the images I have sent are text messages from Jon from triple automotiveIf you have any questions please call me at 360-703-Thank You.Sincerely,*** ***

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: this doesn’t matter anymore.  In 3 weeks the truck is going back to United finance.  All we can do is agree to disagree.  I’m not trying to make things difficult for anyone.  I’m tired of droning on about this. It will never get anywhere. Hey at least now I was told that even consignment  vehicles will inspected in the future so I guess something good came of it.
Sincerely,

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:There was no trailer ever pulled with the truck. I simply stated to the sales man that if the transmission is slipping this much with no load I couldn't imagine how bad it would be pulling a trailer. I called the repair facility multiple times with no results. This is more than unfair and Terrible business practice. I changed the oil in the truck right after I bought it because the salesman said he didn't know the last time it was changed. In doing so I found metallic shavings on the megnetic drain plug. I had them cut open an oil filter while I was on site to make sure there wasn't shavings in the filter. Upon opening the filter we found an alarming amount of carbon. This is due to the fact that most oils have a detergent in them that breaks down carbon deposits. We didn't find any trace of metal in the filter. I had the tech go on a drive with me and he himself said that the transmission was in fact slipping and skipping third gear altogether. I have this documented from the repair facility. The fact that the owner of this company wants to twist the truth to make himself look better is repulsive. I recommend that anyone looking to buy a vehicle never work with these guys as they will give you false promises and broken vehicles. They are scamming their way to the top every day and I am terribly saddened for their future customers. Sincerely,[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID .[redacted], , and find that arbitration is necessary.

To Whom It May Concern:On 06/02/2016, [redacted] called on two vehicles that were for sale on Cralgsllst>Portland by Triple C Autoat the address listed above. The salesman who took the call explained to Mr. [redacted] that the vehicles were still for saleand that the SlO was a mechanic's special...

and had an intermittent starting issue that might be related to the computer, including a wheel bearing noise and other possible minor Issues. Our sales manager tried to put together a package deal that included both vehicles. Mr. [redacted] decided that hewould only purchase the 510, the sales manager charged him for the vehicle to secure it for the customer. At that time,he forgot to add the additional document processing fee. When the customer arrived with a tow truck to sign for the 510 and take delivery, the vehicle Buyer's Guide wasthoroughly explained to him as well as the fees. The customer was upset that there was a document fee and started tocause a scene. The sales manager wanted to unwind the deal and the customer proceeded to call the police anddemanded that he leave with the vehicle. To prevent further negative attention, the owner, Charles L[redacted], allowed thecustomer a discounted price on the vehicle. The customer then drove the vehicle off our lot.We did not hear from the customer again until receiving this complaint. At this time we are not willing to compensate the customer any more as we already honored an expiredadvertised price and discounted the document fees on a fully disclosed vehicle. Please see the attached, signedsupporting documents.Charles L[redacted]Owner/General Manager
