[redacted]). Tripie C and Mr. [redacted] came to a mutual agreement to do an even trade on the vehicles, with zero money exchanged. The [redacted]’s had every opportunity and were encouraged to go over and test drive the 1996 Jeep Cherokee before the deal was complete. Mr. [redacted] had explained that he is a mechanic and knew exactly what he was getting and declined the test drive that we advised him to take. He continually showed pictures of previous vehicles he had restored and continued to explain the lift, tires, etc. he was going to add onto the 1996 Jeep Cherokee. The appropriate paperwork was finalized, which included an “as is” form, which was thoroughly explained to the customer and also signed by the customer. At no time was Triple C trying to hide anything regarding the condition of this vehicle, in fact, we strongly encourage all of our customers to completely go over any car or truck or suv that they are buying from us in order to avoid instances like these.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

In their resonse they stated they offered my husband a warranty and they didn't. It also stated in the letter that my husband called them a few weeks later about the oil leak and that was a lie. My husband contacted them the next day February 3rd concerning the smell of oil. My husband talked to them on the phone February 3rd. They did not get back to my husband until February 12th about the issue until my husband sent them a text message on February 12th concerning the issue. We have all the text message from them with all the dates. My husband also asked Sam others was anything wrong with the truck and Sam told my husband there was nothing wrong with the truck; however they did not inspected the truck before selling it so how could he be so confident and tell my husband that there was nothing wrong with the truck. Once again I have all text messages between me, my husband and them regarding the truck. We just want our money back.

On January 30th 2018, [redacted] came in inquiring about a 2007 Jeep Commander Sport edition. As always, we encouraged the customer to test drive and go over the vehicle before purchasing, although Mr. [redacted] did not test drive, nor go over the vehicle as suggested. He requested the vehicle’s...

information so he could take it to his personal bank for a loan. Mr.[redacted] also negotiated and we dropped the price for him. On February 2nd 2018, Mr. [redacted] returned and purchased the 2007 Jeep Commander, again not test driving or going over the vehicle. All of our vehicles are “As Is” and every customer is aware of this when purchasing as they sign the "As is" form before the purchase is completed. In our advertisements, it states that a basic warranty is available to be included when purchased at full asking price, in which Mr.[redacted] did not purchase at full asking price. There was nothing stopping Mr. [redacted] from purchasing a warranty at an additional cost through us or even going elsewhere to do so. He did not show any concern that a warranty wasn't included at the time of purchase. Mr.[redacted] reached out and contacted us a few weeks later concerning the oil pan. Although Mr. [redacted] did sign the “As Is” form and we are not obligated in any way to fix any issue occuring after purchase, we did offer to repair it at no additional cost to the customer. A time was again upon and scheduled to pick up the vehicle to be repaired, in which Mr. [redacted] attempted to get us to purchase the vehicle back instead of allowing us to take the vehicle to be repaired as planned. Mr. [redacted] then refused to allow us to take the vehicle to be repaired for him, again at no additional cost to the customer, due to the fact we refused to purchase the vehicle back. At no time was Triple C Autoplex trying to hide anything from the customer, we encourage all of our customers to test drive and go over any vehicle before purchasing to avoid an occurrence like this.
