Triple c performance has poor quality work and broke my driver side mirror and have not done anything to fix this .Triple c has has only done bad work I pick my truck up and I noticed the driver side mirror was smashed . And I went back I. And he said he forgot they broke it but orderd a new one and would be in the morning. As I drive home I also noticed my performance box is not working and I called him and he said he would look at it on the mornin. I realized later that he had messed with some wires in my engine bay and I believe that is why It is shorting out my performance box. brought the truck back the next day and he called me a few hours later . So the next day I drop the truck off and they call me SEVERAL hours later that the truck is ready. As pick up my truck he said my box keeps blowing fuses which it never had since I had it and he was the one who installed it. And also he said the mirror Desired SettlementMirror was broke agin and that he didn't even Order the whole mirror he just ordered the glass mirror and not the plastic cover as we'll. I have contacted him about fixing these problems and his response was he will ship the mirror but I have not recieved the mirror and he knows I have orders to [redacted] on august 7 so he just keeps blowing me offBusiness Response TRIPLE-C DIESEL PERFORMANCE, LLC 602 RICHLANDS HIGHWAY JACKSONVILLE, NC XXXXX XXX-XXX-[redacted] (XXXX) Veteran Owned and Operated August 7, 2014 Revdex.com Complaint Case #XXXXXXXX In response to the above referenced complaint, the following is a breakdown on what occurred. The customer had ordered his own parts and was going to perform the work himself, but after several phone calls and trying to give him as much advise as possible over the phone the customer decided that he had made an error and wanted Triple-C Diesel Performance, LLC to make the repairs. At that point Triple-C Diesel had the vehicle towed to our location where a diagnostic was performed and reviewed with the customer and upon his written approval we proceeded to make the repairs which were to replace wiring and wire nuts to fix a transmission problem that was caused by the customer using household wiring. After the customer picked up his vehicle he called and stated that his programmer was not working and we advised him to check his fuses, his response was that he had, so we asked him to bring the vehicle back in which he did and upon inspection we located a blown fuse which we replaced for him at no charge. Unfortunately while our mechanic was backing his truck out of the bay he bumped the mirror (glass side) and cracked the glass. When the customer arrived we explained to him what had happened and that we had ordered another mirror (glass) and it would be in the next day. Understandably the customer was upset that the mirror (glass) had been broken and was okay with bringing his vehicle back the next day and we replaced the mirror (glass). Now this customer feels that the entire mirror casing should have been replaced but the only thing that was broken by Triple-C Diesel Performance, LLC was the mirror and not the mirror casing (it was cracked prior to arriving at our establishment) it is unfortunate that this accident happened but we feel that we took all the steps necessary to correct the damage that was caused by our mechanic. Triple-C Diesel Performance, LLC will go above and beyond for their customers and makes every effort to help out our customers day or night which is why we are known as the best Diesel Performance Shop in Eastern Carolina. Waiting for our truck to be finished.I had put my truck into their shop on December 20th 2014. From there I was told it would only take 2 weeks and I would have my truck back. When those two weeks had rolled around the truck was not cometed because the machine shop had not gotten to putting my engine yet. It was explained that engines were completed in a barber shop style, and I would have to wait my turn. I accepted and continued my wait, and called every wednesday to get an update on the completed time. On January 10th I called for my update and was told the 21st of january, which was perfect because I needed my truck to move things from Maryland to North Carolina where I currently live. When the 21st came about I was told my engine still was not completed or put together. My wife and I put off the date to move for February 28th to give the shop another target deadline. I called every week agian and was told it would be done the 28th of February, but was advised not to drive it to Maryland because if it were to breakdown within the 500 miles to break the engine in the shop would not get it towed back. I didnt get my truck back because the machine shop has now cracked the head and is working to refurbish another head to put in. I called every week in march and was told on March 24th that the machine shop had messed something up agian and I would have the truck by March 1st. Ive invested up too 11,000 dollars to have this trucked fixed, and ive been sleeping on an air matress for months waiting for my truck to be finished because weve put off getting my furniture from Maryland. There needs to be some sort of settlement, they have been helpful and respectful, but the wait has been too long.Desired SettlementI have paid 10,919.64 to have this truck fixed and I dont feel that they deserve the full amount of that money based on their poor customer service and lack of timeliness. I feel that I should be reimbursed the labor cost, and all other costs that are not the parts themselves.Business Response This issue has already been resolved with the Customer and all parties involved are satisfied, the customer has been made aware if there are any issues they can come by the shop or call us and we will do our best to assist them.
