Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: First, we did not choose to become the GC for this jobOur GC reached the end of our contract as far as the agreed upon money exchange, and did not complete the jobWe did not have a choice but to let him leave, as we did not have additional money available to pay him more to finish our houseI am fully capable of managing this job, and we have the money in our budget to finishWhat was discussed with Greg at the March meeting was an additional small slab to be poured in the backyard, along with completion of the driveway and curbing, as planned on our ROW approved site planI have never had the intention of disregarding the city's ROW rules, nor was I expecting Greg to do anything illegalOur conversation with Greg was in asking to do the finish concrete in phases, as we finish our discussion with the city regarding the excessive sidewalk requestThe driveway and curb were always part of the finish budgetGreg's lack of communication created this issueIf he had just responded to our first call, this would have been handledWe never sent harassing messages, couldn't leave a voicemail as his box was always full, and finally chose to visit his home being concerned that maybe something horrible had happened to himThis was handled by Greg and Triple C in a very unprofessional way, and I resent the implication that I intended to illegally proceed, as I am very aware of the rules and regulations, as I have been managing this project form the beginningMike would concur.
Sincerely,

In October of 2016, Triple C Concrete gave an estimate for the *** job to a generalcontractor we had worked for in the pastThe job started in October, and with the oversight ofthe General Contractor the majority of the project was finishedIn early March, again dealingdirectly with the
General Contractor, we returned to the site to complete another portion ofthe workShortly after, the General Contractor set up a meeting between Triple C and thehomeowners to talk about the remaining work.At said meeting, the Home Owner wanted Triple C to re-bid the remainder of the job.*** vocalized that she had no intention in following the ROW guidelines set by the city. She said there wasn't enough money to finish, and claimed they would "sue the city" tocomplete the projectTriple C was not comfortable with the homeowner acting as the generalcontractor for several reasons*** is not familiar nor qualified with the proper steps, planning, or budgeting needed for such a projectTriple C did not sign any bid or contract sayingthat Triple C would re-bid and continue working on the project. After several weeks of continued harassing calls, emails, and texts; the Home Owners came toTriple C's personal residenceTriple C has a full schedule of several legitimate jobs, and had notime or wish to work for a homeowner who wanted to cut corners and not hire a generalcontractorTriple C's work was well done, and the job would have been successfully completedhad the homeowners not tried to become the new general contractorAs there was no signedcontract ever involved, there has been no breech of contract as the homeowners claim.Additionally the claims that Triple C would "sabotage" the house if they were to continue thejob is libelIt was obviously in the best interest for Triple C to terminate their involvement withthe project
