Triple Crown Storage and Moving Reviews (%countItem)

Unable to reach them regarding delivery, items were passed *** to another moving company, then delivered broken and missing boxes.
My items were picked up on 4/30 by Triple Crown movers in Austin and I was told they would be transferred to a different truck in Dallas before heading to Chicago. I contacted them on 5/3 and 5/4 on multiple occasions to get a status update on delivery but never received a reply. I stressed the fact that I needed to reserve an elevator at my apartment building. I headed to Chicago on 5/5, in anticipation of my things potentially arriving on that date, and called them again. This time, they answered and told me my things had not yet left Texas and it would be 3-5 days before they arrived. So I was forced to reserve an Airbnb in Chicago (whereas if they would have told me this sooner, I would have stayed with family at no cost). I received a call on the afternoon of 5/6 from a driver saying that my things would be arriving that evening at 8 pm! This wasn't possible to reserve an elevator on such short notice or at that time of the evening, so we scheduled the move for 8 am the next day, 5/7. The movers who showed up were not with Triple Crown. I don't believe they were professional movers at all, which was evident by the fact that the boxes were delivered upside down, with holes all over them, and looked like they had been moved/transferred multiple times. My mattress was permanently damaged and appeared as though it had been folded in half, due to the dent in the middle. I had to purchase a new one immediately. Several glasses, bowls and a lamp were broken. My solid wood bookshelf had a shelf completely split in half. Lastly, multiple boxes were missing. I was told by the company that I would have to file a claim after they sent me a package in the mail with the information in order to do so. I can't imagine a less customer-service focused experience with a moving company.

Desired Outcome

Immediate refund for items that were damaged and missing since I had to make an immediate purchase because of their carelessness.

Eric *** of Triple Crown Moving is a coward and a thief. We have a $4500 judgement against him for moving damages which he hasn't paid because he hides from creditors like a ***. but don't rest easy, Eric, your theft charges are criminal now & next time the cops stop you you are going to jail & we will get paid or you won't get out!
If anyone hires this crooked company, even their "insurance" refuses to acknowledge Triple Crown Moving, you've been told.

I started an agreement with Cross Country movers and I ended up with triple Crown. For me, that is something inappropriate to start with. So when my stuff was delivered (finally), I ended up dealing with two moving companies.
I wanted to give a lower star review for the company and five star for Vilma, who assisted me in resolving some issues, I decided to give it 3 stars. Vilma helped me ease my worried feelings. She explained to me everything what happened when others just dont gave a damn in giving me a call back. I have stuff that got wet and boxes torn. They let me pay 150$ for a month storage fee just because they cant deliver my stuff on time before the due date. That is not prorated if you get your stuff earlier than a month.
I called Cross Country and Triple Crown for a gazillion times until they connected me to vilma that made me feel better. All I need was communication. Both companies were both bad with it once they got your initial payments.
Right now, im still waiting for my receipt so I can add to my tax return report. I was promised last friday and I received none yet. I will update this review as time unfolds.

Moved out of state, they lost/damaged roughly $2,500 worth, have not paid $501 claim that was agreed upon.
I did not choose this mover. Purple Heart (also terrible) was the broker I ignorantly chose, and they sold my move to this place. They were kind enough to settle with me directly versus the joke of a claims company that I was told I needed to go through, but now, here were are, 10 months after my move and they still have not sent a check. Originally spoke with ***, who fell off the face of the earth, and have since been working with ***, who keeps telling me he's "seen the check" and will get me a tracking number as soon as blah blah blah...

Desired Outcome

Just pay me the stupid $500 and be done with it.

This company was responsible for moving a pool table (in many parts) pictures , a chair and several boxes from Granville, OH to Ft. Worth Texas.
They lost the pictures, which they packed and also a box containing parts for the pool table.
The pool table is around 100 years old and replacement parts are almost non existent.
The pictures are a valuable oil painting, a large graduation picture and a hand stiched picture that took a hundred hours to create that was to be for the grandkids.

The contact at the business has been less than helpful, only saying that the company does not know where the items are located and has been much less than helpful trying to locate the items that were on the truck in Granville, OH.
Product_Or_Service: Moving of items

Desired Outcome

Replacement With the experience of trying to work with the business representative on the matter, I would expect no further cooperation from the rep. and certainly have the thought that no one else in the business has been notified or cares about the missing items. A contact by the Revdex.com with the Company president would help, as I am find it impossible to talk to that person. I request a payment for the pool table parts that are missing, if there are replacements. Pictures cannot be replaced. Someone cares?

Dear Revdex.com,

We are in contact with the customer. A meeting was set up last week for tomorrow November 21st, 2018. To discuss Terms and Conditions on contract, missing parts to pool table, and missing box. We continue to find a middle ground with customer but as of now they are requesting a $900.00 and higher compensation for their claim. Their entire move total cost was $1862.00, and on the day of the pick up they declined additional coverage. We will update you on the outcome after tomorrows encounter.

G'Day !
I am in constant contact with Triple Crown representative on this case. I think we have some aggreement. Can you please delete the complaint from the website and then we will see if Triple Crown lives up to their agreement. If not, we will start another complaint
Please let me know when you have completed the deletion.

Didnt deliver on time, slow rolled deliver, all boxes showed up damaged and a broken TV missing items etc
ISSUES - Delivered 30 days late, completely unresponsive to calls and email, many boxes showed up in shambles to include clothing boxes being half the size with all the clothes crushed, Missing a TV and when TV arrived it was broken (their replacement paperwork would take up to 120 more days of dealing with them), many boxes that were broken and taped together missing stuff that we realized were missing after the fact so they wont replace, horrible customer service who is extremely rude.

After a misunderstanding/miscommunication between Triple Crown and Another moving company, my stuff that was supposed to arrive June 8th was still in storage in Dallas on the day in should have arrived. I spent the next 30 days calling them everyday, often completely repeating the entire situation, to get my stuff finally delivered. The incompetence of their people is unbelievable. You will deal with two people at the company if you are lucky to even get them on the phone or via email - they often say their phones aren't working.

1 - the person who is logistically sending your stuff - they will promise you it is being packed the next few days and then not get in touch with you for a week. This happened 5 times via email where they said a truck would have my stuff in the next few days and then I wouldn't get a response

2 - a customer service rep who forgets who you are, every single time you speak. You have to start from square one every time you speak to them and start all over with your situation, why they are in the wrong, why you want your stuff, and what they are going to do for you. A few days will go by without any news and then you start all over. I spoke to *** probably 20 times and she never understood my case, always forgot what was going on, would have info for another move in front of her, would promise to get back to me and never call back and overall was just rude. Once she even said she "Would never promise to tell me how big the truck was that had my stuff" and then promised she would find out and call me right back. She was a horrible person to work with.

When we finally did get our stuff 30 days after we were scheduled to get it, all the boxes were broken and messed with, numerous items were missing, and a TV never showed up. When the TV was mailed, it was broken. I spoke with *** again who said that if I didn't file a complaint she would "work with me" to get me another TV - It has been two weeks and she never has even called me back.

Again - worst moving company I have ever worked with and I moved tons of times with the military. Again - just look at their Revdex.com rating of F and move to another company - they legally shouldn't be able to touch people's stuff!

Desired Outcome

I want them out of business but at least refunded . they were horrible. At end of day should at least get new TV that they damaged (42 inch) Apple Homepod they lost and 15 XBOX games they misplaced

I just wanted to give a big shout out to everyone for helping me with my move to Florida. You guys went above and beyond for me and I am forever grateful. I have a large family of seven so to get my stuff moved was no easy feat. These guys were all such great sports. Even though we had a truck full of stuff and then some they never stopped for a second, and never laxed on the care they took when handling our stuff. We are really glad we met such amazing people like Triple Crown so thanks everyone again.

The movers cracked the head of my lawn mower while in the process of moving my belongings to my current home.
March 1, 2018 Triple moving & Storage sent three movers to move load my furniture and transport it to my current address, during this process my lawn mower was damaged and broken. I used the mower all last year and when I checked the oil and gas level before using it last Month, the there was no oil in the mower. I took the mower to a shop for a tune-up and was told that the mower was damaged beyond repair.I purchased the mower from Lowes on 9-12-2018, the order# XXXXX, model# *** and the serial# XXXXXXMXXXXXX. They also broke the bottom of my freezer, I emailed pictures to them and got no response either time.

Desired Outcome

I want to be reimbursed the full amount for my lawn mower

Our furnitures were damaged during moving and company refuses to pay for damages. The moving date was Sep 2017. Company claims to have insurance.
We hired this company to move our belonging to a storage facility and then to our temporary house in Sep.2017. I and the company movers detected damages to several pieces. I started the claim process through their insurance ( moving claim.net) which has no contact information except e-mail. I followed up several times to get an update. Every time they asked for new documentation. I complied with every request. I also asked the company's sales dir. Sheila Knighton help us to get this claim done. She was responding at first but she stopped to responding to my e-mails and no help whatsoever. The damages to our furnitures is about $4000-5000 and Triple crown moving now completely refuses to pay and not responding to our emails.

Desired Outcome

I would like to be compensated for the the damages or receive a refund for our moving.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
$60 compensation for thousands of $ damage is not a response. This company has not disclosed any details of their insurance before hand. When I asked their sale representative whether our belongings are COMPLETELY insured and safe she said YES. They workers are unprofessional, lazy and irresponsible.
After BEGGING us for another chance, and a promise for good experience by another representative, we let them do our moving again (our mistake). When I talked to her, she promised professional service. Triple crown charged me for 5 people but only four showed up. Workers were taking breaks more than working. they deliberatly damaged our furniture. There was no supervision or walk through at the end.

I called and talked to SAME REPRESENTATIVE again and make it clear we are taking legal action and also complain to Revdex.com and online reviews.

She threaten us that IF WE ARE GIVING THEM BAD REVIEWS OR CONTACT Revdex.com THEY ARE GOING TO HELP US AND NO CLAIMS WOULD BE FILED. She also told us that WE ARE NOT IN INSURANCE BUSINESS.

This company is taking advantage of people's trust and decency and I will share my experience any way possible to warn people.

I put a deposit for 50.00 on my move and called within the allotted time to cancel for my refund. They are hard to reach when trying to cancel, but easy to reach when they are trying to sell there service. Took all day for someone to call me back. The person called me back canceled my move informed me to ensure that I am moving to take advantage of the discount, but if I don't move I can still get my refund. I contacted the company a couple of days later to inform I am not moving and would like my refund. It took 3 more days to speak with a rep. I informed the rep that it has been taking long trying to get this issue resolved, she was unconcerned and informed me that it wasn't the long and someone will call me back. I called back to speak with a director, I am upset at this time my tone is a little louder but instead of addressing my concern he causes me to be more upset and hangs up in my face. No one would allow me to address my concern. I call back no answer. I call back again and a supervisor gets in the phone did not want to hear my concern, at first advised me I can't get my refund, but I refused because I was told I would, she then placed me on hold and told me I would get my refund but not sure when and to follow up on Friday to confirm. This company had no right to treat me as if I didn't matter, all I wanted was my refund, I felt this company to be hounds for your business but unconcerned if you don't need them at that time
Product_Or_Service: Movers
Order_Number: XXXXXXX

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like my refund back, I do not want to have to keep contacting this awful company for my money that o was told I would get back, I would like for them to let me know when I will receive my funds.
