Triple D Services

Triple D Home Care/ Services ([redacted]) supplied home care givers for father for 4 years and we always had excellent relationship.In March 2011 we double paid an invoice of $3,000.In Feb 2013 double payment was noticed. We asked for accounting and were provided with such accounting which did not mention a deposited check . After proving all this, in Feb 2013 bookkeeping adjustment was made and $3,000 were credited towards a due invoice. We did not notice bookkeeping adjustment and again paid full amount. Father died in Apr 2014 and we terminated our relationship on good terms. in May 2014 we noticed overpayment. We asked their accounting and again one check was entered with half the amount. In written exchanges, Triple D agreed to refund any overpayment if proven. We got together with office manager and proved overpayment. Then Triple D came up with interest charges for the past 3 years in the amount of $1,160. They agree to the overpayment but want to deduct these $1,160. 1.Never were interest payments asked for or mentioned.2. Their Invoices never mentioned interest payments. 3.Credit was issued in 2013 without mention of interest payment. 4.We terminated our relationship and no demands were made for interest.5. No mention or allowance was made of the fact that they held our $3,000 for three years so there was nave any delay in payment. 6. [redacted] promised to pay back overpayment in writing. Incorrect accounting and trying to wiggle out of obvious financial responsibility makes me wary of the scrupulousness and honesty of the management of this business.
