February 25, 2016Dear, *** ***,Thank you for informing me and giving me the opportunity to respond to this issueOn February as I was closing for the night a man walked up and said that the soon to be customer car was stuck on 22nd streetHe stated she had to make it to New Jersey
and the car wouldn't startI sent one of my techs out to see if he could get the car startedHe was unable to start car and stated to me that he thought it wasn't getting any fuelI told my tech the car would have to be towedThe Customer agreed to have car towed she left the payment and the key with my techCar was towed into my facility as a no startOn February 11, 2016, a check of the fuel rail and fuel pump ruled them out as to why the car wouldn't startNext we turned to sparkThe engine has four cylindersCylinders 2, and were full of oilThe wires for cylinders and actually came apart having been saturated with oil, Also, the valve cover gasket was deteriorated and needed to be replacedI spoke with a male who represented as the actual owner of the carinformed him what my findings were, the cause of the no start, was oil in cylinders 2, 3, and caused by oil flowing passed a failed valve cover gasketI recommended as parts: spark plugs, spark plug wire set, and valve cover gasketgave him his final cost for me to actually getting his car to startHe verbally agreed and proceeded to correct his no start conditionAfter our Repairs noticed lot of blue smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe so let car run for About mins to and 1hr to burn up the residual oil that was in the cylinders from before the RepairMy ending result was the car started right up the customer came and picked up the carShe drove the car that was towed in off the lot,On February 12, 2016, the owner phoned me stating the car cut off four or five times while being driven to Hammond's, NJ, some or so miles awayWhile the car's cutting off is unfortunate, it's starting those many times support the fact indeed, provided the repair for which this company was hired to complete,if the customer would like further diagnostics and/or repairs, we appreciate all our customers and are usually open from 0600hrs - 1800hrs days per week.Thank you again,Triple Jaye Automotive Services
