We received a call from the customer @ [redacted] *** on 5/20/ The customer stated he hooked up to natural gas and we could come pick up our tank and give him a refund for the remaining gas in the tankThe secretary told him there may be a charge of $ Not that there was a charge His response was if we did not give him a refund we could not have our tank back The reason we tell a customer there may be a charge is when we go to the property to pick up our tank and we can't easily get access to the tank because they may have planted trees, put up a fence, septic concerns, outbuildings, etcthat may then require us to bring more help and/or additional equipment The manager was out of the office for a couple days and we had a lot of activity leading up to the Memorial Day weekend By the time we had a chance to return his call we had just received the letter from the Revdex.com, which he contacted the same day that he called our office I think we should have had more than just business days to respond considering the busy holiday weekend Had we called the next day it would have still been too late to avoid this matter We understand your concerns, value our customers and do everything possible to help them in any way we can He has been a long time customer and we thank him for that I would like to think that we had provided the best service possible This last propane season was one of, if not, the worst on record for all involved, customers, suppliers and employees We have done everything humanly possible to satisfy each and every customer We would refund the number of gallons based on the percentage to gallon ratio left in the tank at current market price, providing we have easy access to the tank We are one of the few gas companies that offer any refund for any reason With that said let us know if we can assist in any way Thank You, [redacted] Tripoli Propane WUS Hwy Tripoli, WI Phone-715-564-ext# [email protected]
