We do apologize for the bus breakdown, and we had issued a full refund for this customer a while ago.

complaint before we had a chance to resolve this.

Review: I have purchased a bus ticket from Bethesda Washington DC to New York leaving at 4:00pm on December *, 2013. I have arrived prior to the departure time and while I was waiting to get on the bus I was told that there were no more seats. There were two additional passengers who were told the same thing. When we ask whether we will be given a seat on the 5:00pm bus the man who was dealing with the check in told us that he does not know. I have contacted customer service and the man that I spoke with said: What do you want me to do? Try to catch the next train. There is nothing that I can do. After two telephone calls to customer service where the customer representative was not helpful and extremely rude I was finally told that I should try to get on the 5:00pm bus. I had to wait for one hour in the cold, without knowing whether I will be able to get on the next bus or not. I finally was allowed to catch the next bus which arrived later than 5:00pm. This is unacceptable and should not happen! Moreover, if I mistake was in fact made and tickets were being sold after the bus was already full, the bus company should at least by apologetic not informed its customers that it is not their problem and that there is nothing they can do.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for my ticket!

Review: Tripper Bus has failed to respond to 2 emails and 1 phone message to reimburse the last $150 of medical bills that I had when I was in an accident on one of their busses.Desired Settlement: Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of my bill.

Review: On Sunday, June **, 2014, I boarded a 5:00 PM Tripper Bus leaving NYC heading to [redacted]. About 20 miles outside of Newark, NJ, the Tripper Bus broke down on the side of the turnpike. The bus driver pulled over onto the shoulder, and exited the bus. At this time, no communication had been made to us, the passengers, in any capacity. We all sat on the bus, wondering what was going on. The bus driver continued to get on and off the bus for 30 minutes, until a frustrated passenger got up and asked him what was going on as he had not even said 1 word to us at that point. He informed her that the bus had broken down, then she took it upon herself to share this news with the rest of the passengers. He did not share this information himself. Once we realized we would be stranded, we began disembarking the bus, as the air-conditioning was not working and it was very hot aboard the bus. The bus driver did not tell us to sit in a specific area or even give instructions for safety. Some people sat behind the bus, on the highway, some in front of the bus. Some stood in front staring into oncoming traffic, risking life and limb. This continued for 2 hours until a replacement bus came, at which point, we were told we not be able to get our luggage as it is locked on the first bus. As this was unacceptable to everyone, we continued pushing and pressing until the driver of the 2nd bus contacted someone to bring the necessary air to open the luggage bay of the bus, resulting in another hour long wait. The ONLY communication that came from Tripper Bus executives came when we as passengers contacted them, only to be hurried and rushed off the phone as they had no desire to speak to us. The original bus driver let us know Tripper Bus executives had decided to no longer speak with him and would only be communicating with the driver of the new bus. Today, instead of refunding our fare for the bus trip, Tripper Bus executives want to issue a voucher for a future purchase for them. This experience of sitting on the turnpike was more than enough for 1 lifetime and I have no interest in ever purchasing a trip from them again, and have contacted them repeatedly asking for a full refund. All these attempts at contacting Tripper Bus have been ignored.Desired Settlement: I am asking for a full refund of my purchase from Tripper Bus. I am NEVER going to purchase a ticket from them again, therefore a voucher for a future trip is completely ridiculous and all they are offering. They have not once responded to my emails requesting a refund, instead only communicating via mass emails to customers that we cannot respond to as the responses bounce back.

Review: On a recent trip from MD to NYC our bus encountered dangerous mechanical issues and customers were not advised of the situation. Bus continued to break down several times during the trip and driver drove recklessly to avoid having to stop. Eventually we were put on a different bus. I contacted the company to complain about the lack of customer service and the dangerous situation. Spoke with the owner and manager (as I was told), Betty. She advised she would offer a refund and issue a credit for a future ride. Two weeks later I have not received any such credits nor have I been able to reach Betty again. Spoke to the receptionist when I called and was told she ha reached out to Betty directly so unsure why I'm not getting a call back.

Terrible terrible business practice. No customer service whatsoever. I am told Betty is the only one that can handle these issues which is unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund and to hear back from the owner/manager.

Review: I had purchased a round trip ticket for $54.50 to NYC from Arlington, VA through Tripper bus on 9/**/2014 for 10/**/2014 round trip ticket. On 9/**/2014 I cancelled the complete trip and asked for a refund. I was told I would have a complete credit of $54.50 for a year from the time of purchase. I reached out customer service and the Manager Betty without any satisfaction. They claimed that only one leg of the trip was cancelled thereby leaving me with a less than half credit of the $54.50 that was paid for the round trip.

Its is impractical that I would cancel only one leg of my trip when I could not go at all. Furthermore, I asked for a complete refund of the trip and not half of it.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a full refund of $54.50.
