I reached out to this company to return the item. It was sent to me from Chino, CA and Ryan the customer service rep asked that I return it to Canada and pay for insurance, which would have costs more money than the item was worth. *** Trist Skin Care ***Jan 27, 2020, 2:41 PM (5 days ago)to me Hi Misty, My name is Ryan and I will be assisting you today. Mark on the label that it is a return for customs and declare the full value. Once you have that please send us a photo of the tracking receipt for our records. Other (requires explanation) I would like a full refund and can ship the item back to Chino, CA where it originally shipped from.
We authorized a refund for this client. All she had to do was return the item for a full refund. This was not acceptable to her as her shipping fees from her location, which stated in our returns policy are customers responsibility, to our offices was quite high. As a solution that was acceptable to her was to refund half the purchase price, which we did and she was able to keep the product.
We have fulfillment warehouses all over the world. These warehouses do not accept returns of product. Our policy is to return the items to our offices which are based in Canada. This is a valid policy and is clearly stated.
This solution was acceptable to the client and the refund was issued. If this was not a valid resolution, this should have been brought to our attention to resolve it rather than file a complaint. we will go ahead and refund the remaining $13.46.
