hired tristar heating and cooling to replace my old furnace and a/c .he required 70% down,to start work.thats when the nitemare begin.lots of excuses[wrong part from warehouse.cant get part til this date!!on and on one lie after another.a month later it came down to be here on oct 5 2016 or return my money already charged to my credit card.he called 730 am to tell me he would be alittle late,I was shocked since he failed to call the last 3 times he was suppose to show up.he showd up at 1230 and worked until 10.came back at 2 the next day without the parts to finish the job.he promised to come back the end of the week to finish.the next day I notice the floor was getting wet because the joint on the exhaust pipe was leaking.he said he would come again.never showed.3 weeks later still leaking,still no filter or duct work.not to say that I repaired the floor and ceiling where he ran pipes and lines myself.also ran my condensation water outside to freeze this winter. also put a furnace in that didn't fit so the door has to be remade because it has its own room.which am responsible for ...my advise GO WITH WHO YOU KNOW..or your friends know..this guy is so unprofessional!!!! very poor install job....not even code...do a background check...DO NOT PAY UNTIL JOB IS COMPLETE!! now am going back to my credit card to get back back to hire someone else to finish the job..all I can say is do your homework.I would never hire or tell anyone to hire this guy.I told him this myself I cant even recommend him.now I pay the price with headaches because I hired him.I will deal with another company from here on.
