I hired Triton Pools to open my pool cover, drain the water, conduct a pressure test and clean the pool with an acid wash. Scott at Triton indicated that they needed an advance of $250 to come out and do the work on a total invoice of $1,700. I provided our credit card information to them for the advance. Two of their workers came out on April 27th and spent the day working at our pool. When leaving at the end of the day they told me they would be back in the morning to apply more acid but did not do so. From April 28 through May 11 I was in continuous touch with Scott and later the owner, Brian, regarding needing Triton to send me the report of the pressure test they had conducted and an estimate to complete any repairs required based on the test. I also mentioned that their workers did not do any further acid washing as they had indicated. They kept assuring me that I would receive the pressure test report and the estimate. However, I did not get anything. On May 11 my husband was surprised when he opened his credit card statement to see that the balance amount of Triton's invoice had been charged on May 2. I was not informed of this in spite of my being in almost daily communication with Brian and I certainly never received a receipt. The work we had contracted them to do was not complete in our judgement and for them to just go ahead and charge a large amount on our card without informing us just because the had the credit card information was really unacceptable. After I threatened to file a complaint they emailed me the test results that evening. I thought that using a local company was the safest way to go but I now know better - in this case at least.

Review: After numerous visits to my home there services have not corrected my issue. As well as they over charged a credit card on file without my written consent. Also agreed on a price for vacuuming pool and over charged on bill. Bill also states they were here twice in the same day when they were not.

I am a first time home buyer as well as first time having a pool. The several different employees that came to my house all had different stories as to why my pool was not clearing up. Making me feel like they were trying to take advantage of my family. From the opening to the numerous conversations with both Scott and the employees that came to my house there was never a feeling anyone knew what they were doing.Desired Settlement: Want my money back both for charging my card without consent and for overcharging on our agreed upon price.

Review: On April 8 2014 my wife and I entered into a contract with Triton Pools for replacement of our in-ground pool liner, installation of steps, resurfacing of the shallow end of our pool with vermiculite and installation of a new return line. Triton and we agreed that while Triton would complete the work by June 14th, they needed some flexibility due to prevailing weather patterns (temperature, rain, etc.). During approximately mid April, Triton removed the shallow end section of the existing liner in preparation for vermiculite and stair installation. With an extended period of rain, the existing liner rolled down into the deeper end and the rainwater caused large troughs to be carved into the exposed sand floor. While a portion of the work (stair installation, vermiculite and new return line) was completed in full shortly after mid May, Triton did not begin the liner install until the end of May approached, and to date, has not completed it. Specifically, the corner sections of liner remain unattached to the channels in which they are supposed to rest, leaving open sections in the corners where debris, pool and rainwater currently enter. Triton claimed difficulty with installing the liner in these areas due to oxidation of the liner channel caused by age but assured us they could finish the job. Further, they assured us that the pool is currently operational. Currently, despite repeated phone and in-person requests, the work remains incomplete and the area that contained troughs due to rain water is considerably less smooth than before the liner replacement despite Triton's assurances that they could "make it nice and smooth".Desired Settlement: We would like Triton to complete the liner installation as per the agreed upon contract immediately. We would also like Triton to inspect the exposed areas of the pool structure in the corners and verify in writing that no subsequent damage has occurred to the structure or pool floor due to their negligence. In the event damage has occurred, we would like Triton to repair the damage free of charge and pay for any water removal or refilling of the pool. We require all of this to be done before July 4th, 2014.
