I had never heard of WiMac until it appeared on my Capital One monthly credit card bill It seems that a call made from a public telephone at Toronto Bus Depot to Guelph - a distance of some miles - incurred a cost of $ This, I think, is an outrageous charge and I will ensure that I never make the mistake again Fellow consumers - forewarned is forearmed!!!

I also had never heard of WiMac until it appeared on this month Visa credit card billA call made from a public telephone in Brighton Ontario to a business in Belleville Ontario cost $This charge is excessive and A COMPLETE RIP OFFI will never use this service again and I would warn others not to use it

I needed to make a call from a remote airport with no cell serviceI used my credit card and used a Manitoba Telecom Services which redacted me to WiMacTelthe 1-minute call showed up on my credit card bill as a $chargeThis is robberyI will be complaining to MTS and WiMacTel

ripped off on a payphone in Seattle, $for a two minute local call

My husband was in a situation to make a 'collect' call homeUsing a typical payphone, he punched in "0+xxx+xxx+xxxx" and got and automated service stating "To make a collect call press 1"which he did and I accepted the call on my endThe call only lasted about minutes, but to our surprise cost us $on our phone bill! The first time I called, I was told it was an 'operator assted' callThe second time, I was offered a credit of $still leaving me with charges of $for a min call, then I got hung up onThe 3rd time I FINALLY got someone with some decency and now have to wait for a cheque to come for a credit of $in the mail in the next wks
Word of adviceBEFORE making a collect call from a payphone, call the operator and ask about the charges!!!

I used my credit card to make a call from the airportIt cost $for a ~minute local call (Toronto - Oshawa)Very expensive and I was not specifically told what the charges would beThey simply appeared on my credit card bill I suggest Never using WiMAC Tel if possibleTerribly overpriced

Poor customer service Starting from the time you pay the deposit, it takes more than weeks to measure the bathroom shower door despite the fact that your bathroom construction is finished since weeks pastThey claimed to have shortage of manpowerThen it takes another more than weeks for them to install the shower door When it comes for them to service the defective shower door, they will give you all the reason NOT to come service They are not true to their promiseTheir employees Denise and Melanie were trained to brush off all the phone calls asking for serviceIt is so grueling dealing with them

I had never heard of WiMac until it appeared on my Capital One monthly credit card bill. It seems that a call made from a public telephone at Toronto Bus Depot to Guelph - a distance of some 60 miles - incurred a cost of $16.23. This, I think, is an outrageous charge and I will ensure that I never make the mistake again. Fellow consumers - forewarned is forearmed!!!

Made a long distance call from a Bell payphone in Vancouver BC to call long distance to Vancouver island. Payphone indicated the call would cost $4.75. I didn't have enough coins so used my credit card for a 30sec call, only to check my visa bill to see a debit of $14.29! from WIMAC TEL CALGARY AB. How does BC regulation allow this obvious scam?

On 2 occasions, June 20 and 22nd, my visa bill was charged with $16.23 for a phone call from our son who used a pay phone to make the call. The amount seems exorbitant and why did the calls generate the exact same cost. While we did not time the calls they were not longer than 5 mins and that would be a cost of about $3.40 a minute. In this day and age this kind of gouging is deplorable. The calls emanated from [redacted] and were received by me in [redacted], ON. which would not normally be long distance if called from private phone to private phone.

I also had never heard of WiMac until it appeared on this month Visa credit card bill. A call made from a public telephone in Brighton Ontario to a business in Belleville Ontario cost $20.60. This charge is excessive and A COMPLETE RIP OFF. I will never use this service again and I would warn others not to use it.

I made two calls from pay phones at Toronto Pearson, neither of which was a lengthy call. Charges were totally out of line:
July 18, 2016 - [redacted]
August 11, 2016 - [redacted]
The [redacted] should be ashamed of itself for endorsing this company.
Is it any wonder that the public is opting for mobile telephones?

ripped off on a payphone in Seattle, $17.56 for a two minute local call

I needed to make a call from a remote airport with no cell service. I used my credit card and used a Manitoba Telecom Services which redacted me to WiMacTel. the 1-2 minute call showed up on my credit card bill as a $13.18 charge. This is robbery. I will be complaining to MTS and WiMacTel.
