I received the complaint from Katherine Basura and would like to respond to her claims.It is true that the tenant had a good history of paying rent for the bedroom unit which she leased 3/1/When she moved into the bedroom property it was only herself and her daughter (age 17) who were to be living in the unit as stated on the leaseAt some point during their tenancy, the daughter had children and a boyfriend who also was living in the bedroom unit (although they were not on the lease.)I had a vacancy in the bedroom unit in the next building and asked the tenant if she would like to move to have more space for her familyThey came and looked at the unit and were very excited to moveThey never disclosed that they had lost their jobs and that this move would be a financial hardshipWe signed a new month lease for the new property.Since taking possession of the bedroom unit on December 15, the tenants have only paid their rent on time onceThe owner elected not to renew or extend their lease based on their lack of timely rent paymentsThe tenants were given proper notice of the termination of tenancy.If you have further questions or require additional documentation of the details pertaining to this matter, please contact meI can be reached on my cell phone ###-###-#### or via email at: [redacted] @gmail.com.Sincerely,S [redacted] Property Manager Cal BRE # 01***
