Re: Homeowner *** ***Dear Sirs:On behalf of the complaint received by homeowner *** *** at *** *** *** ***, San Antonio, Texas Homeowner did agree and signed contract, but initially for metal roof instillationMr*** contacted the office on September 6th
stating he wanted to cancel his contact and get a refund because he had been unable to get additional money needed for the metal roofThat is when it was brought up to my attention by my Office PersonnelHe did not mention additional water damage in the home, or that because we were not starting on the roof, all representatives advise homeowners of metal roof waiting period, due to the seventy of storm. We gave him the option to install a 25-year composition roof as an upgrade to his existing 20-year roof at no additional costMr*** agreed on the comp roof and material was ordered and delivered within a weekWhen the project started, a day after the delivery we were able to get the roof installed, during the existing tear off process roofers noticed that the existing decking was a 5/decking sheetsWe at that time were notified and contacted the insurance company and sent in pictures of the cracked deckingTheir current insurance company Allstate advised us that the homeowner does not have code upgrade policy, we advised the insurance company that the decking was damaged, but they refused to pay stating that the decking was not damaged due to hail stormWe contract homeowner, she then contacted the insurance company and called back saying that the decking was not approved, due to office personnel miscommunication with insurance companyWe gave homeowner the option to pay out of pocket for decking they said No and that they would contact their Adjuster who initially went out there for the 1st inspection. We did not deny service, we still advised the roofers to properly dry in the home to prevent damagesThe following day I made contact with Mrs*** and advised her that because their policy does not cover code upgrade we would only replace decking sheets that were severely damaged at no additional costShe then allowed us to complete the re-roof, and as agreed we replaced severely damaged decking.If you still have any doubt and require further help, please feel free to contact *** ** *** at *** ** ***Owner/OperatorIron Clad Roofing & Renovations, LLC

In reference to above complaint id number, associated to Mr*** residence Let me begin by saying we at Iron Clad Roofing apologize for the inconvenience, and damages caused by the leak on flat roof Iron Clad Roofing, humbly regrets to admit that there was an issue with the
flat roof system installation. The flat roof system has been repairedAnd interior damages caused by leaks are currently being repaired. The individual Sales Reps., are responsible for maintaining and overlooking the production of the jobI advised Mrs*** that someone would be there, as the Sales Reps., would be They’re responsible to make sure of any issues that may arise during the time of any work being done. Iron Clad has sent out different workers to complete interior work, and are doing all we can to restore their home to pre-storm condition Iron Clad Roofing will continue to work hard on the *** Residence, to the homeowner’s satisfaction

I'm sorry for just getting back to you, but I was just made aware of this matter.The homeowner was dealing with one of our Roofing Specialist that is no longer with us that and never followed through. That said, another Roofing Specialist, [redacted] stepped in to make sure they were...

taking care. In the end the homeowner was very happy with their roofing request. Thank you,[redacted]Iron Clad Roofing & Renovations[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: They did not allow payment options for  the boards not covered by insurance and I felt forced to settle for a lesser roof. They never complied to original contract. I paid more than half up front and we had no delivery of materials. We were told verbally to pay everything upfront for our metal roof which contradicted the original agreement. We then felt frustrated and pushed to settle for a different roof for the 7000 we already paid in advance. Then I still have water leaking after they "fixed" the roof. And they have yet to come out and inspect that issue (2nd complaint with the Revdex.com).
