I won a car on December I chose Tropical Shippers because they had a guaranteed day pick up and day guaranteed delivery I made a deal with the shippers on December to deliver for $ Instead of a day pick up, they promised to pick up on January I told seller the pick up would be Friday Jan
Around 4:p.m., I called Tropical NO ANSWER XXX-XXX-XXXX Then I called the seller He said he contacted Tropical earlier that day and they said he'd get a phone call hours before pick up So he, as well as I are waiting around all day I called *** *** who is listed as the driver on the dispatch sheet *** tells me he called Tropical earlier that day and told them "his truck was broke down and wouldn't be fixed until Mondayso he's not picking anything up until Monday."
Tropical did NOT call me or the seller or anyone to tell us pick up was rescheduled for Monday, January 5! They did not answer their phone Then I called uShip at XXX-XXX-XXXX Their number is not transparent on their website but I got it from the Revdex.com (with complaints but an A+ rating??) Anyway, uShip told me they have no responsibility in all this; they just list potential shippers I now have a call into DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers) to deliver this car
This is the 4th car I've ever shipped The other times I used DAS and I had NO PROBLEMS! I should've used them this time too Using uShip and Tropical Shippers was a BAD, BAD MISTAKE No one at either location is accountable It's disgraceful!
Having to move on short-notice with more vehicles than I could drive, Tropical Auto Carriers was extremely helpful throughout the process *** in the office was always available to answer any questions I had about pickup or delivery times, and was pleasantly transparent about the process in general, quelling all uncertainties I was contacted my driver several times over the 24hr transport period of my vehicle, and when he could not reach my house due to the height restrictions of my neighborhood, we organized a pickup place as close to me as possible I am especially pleased with how all of this turned out, and I have zero complaints
DO NOT USE THIS CARRIER - THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS - They use shipper UZ Auto Trans Inc, which they partner up with so you are not able to file any claims against.They damaged my car and worked together so I was unable to file a claim.
