I went to Tropical Chevy to buy a Stingray, I informed them I was paying cash and didn't want a test drive, I just wanted to buy the carThey then immediately requested to view my credit (which is not something you do when buying a car cash) but either way, I obliged and allowed them to pull my credit, not minutes later the General Manager comes out and sees that I have repossession on my record (from a vehicle I helped a friend finance by co-signing for him, but he didn't keep up with the payments) and calls me a "Flake" and some other expletives for "Wasting (his) sales' guy's time" and then tells me to leaveThis was by far the WORST experience that I have had at a car dealership and it is quite apparent that the management supports this type of behavior and maybe even encourages itDO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP, they are condescending, unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful
I have a house in LA and Miami and my brother needed a car when I asked him to just stop by the nearest Chevy Dealer. We liked the name "Tropical Chevrolet." We thought it was cute. I cosigned an amazing Black Chevy SUV, he works now as a limo drive with UBER and everytime I fly into Miami for my vacation I have an amazing time rolling around my gorgeous Chevy. I'm very happy with this dealership and the salesman a latino friendly bilingual. Sold me an awesome Chevy. "Puro Tropical." I had a blast buying it and I think I got a very fair deal. They were very willing to negotiate and I liked that.
