I have been using this dealer for a couple of years and have mixed opinions of their committment to serviceRecently, I was told that I needed a new part, wiper pump and was told on 1/after an oil change that the part would need to be orderedI indicated that I would be out of town and would not be able to return until the following Monday, 2/I asked if I needed an appointment and was told noI decided to call prior to showing up and was told that they would schedule an appointment and at that time was told that they would look at it and determine what needed to be repairedI told the customer service person that it was already determined what was neededAt that time, I asked to speak with the service or general manager and was put on holdThis happened three times and at that time, I asked for a return call from either the service manager or general manager, About mintutes later, I received a return call from the service managerHe asked me for a recap of my dissatisfaction with this issueThe service manager asked how I would rate their Tropical Ford based on this experience and I said poorAt that time, I was told that I should look for another dealer for warranty repairs
Tropical Ford gives dealerships a bad name. They have been calling me for the past 4 years asking to 'trade in' my vehicle or to give me some other offer. Each time I politely told the person on the phone that I had a horrible experience at the dealer and I would like to be taken off all mailing lists (postal and email) and asked them to stop calling my cell phone. Last week I received another call and I once again politely told the Tropical Ford never call me again and to take me off all marketing and advertising lists. Just this morning I received another email from them offering me another special deal.
