( over ) job installed in HawaiiTropical was trained initially by the Nordix branch of SeattleThis branch closed over plus years ago.Tropical has since trained installers in Everlast installationTropical has been installing Vinyl Siding in Hawaii for over years and is the expert at installing all Vinyl Siding products in HawaiiTropical is a lisenced General contractor with other lisenced contractors on staffAlso I *** own one of the very few specialty lisences issued in Hawaii for installing SidingThis I have had since Tropical also has approx5,plus Siding installations in Hawaii3) I believe the plain and simple fact here is Mr***'s job was a half a day from being completed and he stopped the job to avoid paymentAt this time Mr*** has a bill of over $32,plus due and decieded to stop the projectMr*** owes payment for windows and siding and repairs already installed on his homeThis project is 99.9% completeThis matter has already been forwarded to our Attorney for collection4) I think it is absolutly nuts a Consumer makes a statement that he wants a refund of the deposits paid already on a project that is in excess of $50,I would think if Mr*** had a problem he would have stopped the job before it was 99.9% finished unless he intended not to payTropical installed the Everlast properly.Tropical has been Factory trainedThis whole thing is just a way for Mr*** to avoid payment

This job was done less then ten years ago. I lived here since 2006. Besides he knows his men were at fault' and should be responsible for their work. Instead of try to get out of problem.Just be responsible.

Mr. [redacted] did contact me however it was not about his window. He contacted me about installing a fence. Unfortunatly we were not able to help him with this...
project. While I was there he mentioned he thought my men may have damaged his window during the Vinyl siding job we installed 10 years prior. I looked at the problem and said this is 10 years later normally this type of damage would happen immediatly. I gave Mr. [redacted] options to help him. Suggestions such as put in tempered glass because the house is older and not up to code. I also told him there would be a charge for these services. He apparantly wants Tropical to provide this service for free on his home. Tropical wants to help all our customers however we cannot be responsible for their homes forever. This installation was done 10 years ago and this is of course outside of our warranty period. The State of Hawaii requires only a 1 year workmanship warranty. I am discouraged and dissapointed that one our old customers would use the system to try to recieve free services BUT Tropical WOULD STILL BE WILLING TO HELP MR. [redacted] IN THIS MATTER HOWEVER THERE WILL BE A CHARGE FOR OUR SERVICES. Unfortunatly 10 years is just to long for a realistic claim of damage to Mr. [redacted]'s home.
