Hi, I am requesting compensation for the vets bills I incurred due to the misleading label on the medicaided dog shampoo it had no warnings or allergy information nor does it say avoid eyes or faceThis could have been avoided if they had had these warnings labled on the product

We agreed that the consumer did things the correct way by contacting us and we believed we have done the same by investigating the matter thoroughly We did make a determination that we would refund $as a good will gesture but we have also determined that we would not compensate for the vet billsWe have copied our explanation that we have previously sent regarding this matter below , and while we understand that you disagree with our conclusion, we will not be taking any additional actions in this case outside of what has been determinedPlease see our explanation below“Regarding the test of our retained sample for OxyMed Medicated Shampoo oz Lot # [redacted] :After pulling the mixing production packet for the OxyMed Medicated Shampoo oz (Lot# [redacted] ), the lab double checked the production process, final specifications, and retained sample of the batchThey retested the product, and it matched previous COA results showing it was within specificationsAdditionally, the lab tested the product for yeast/mold, coliform, and aerobic activity, and all tests were negative (for growth/contamination) There were no formulation changes with this batchThis was a 1,gallon batch that was bottled as 9,bottles of oz eachAll of these bottles have shipped, and to date, there have not been any other reports of adverse effects regarding this lot number.TropiClean uses the highest quality ingredients in all our productsAlthough none of the ingredients would be expected to cause a sensitization (allergic) reaction in the vast majority of exposed animals, a remote possibility exists that one or more animals in the general population who are allergic to one or more of them could exhibit a sensitization (allergic) reaction on contact Such an event, while expected to be rare, cannot be absolutely ruled out.Based on this information and the veterinarian findings, we have concluded that the animal in question experienced an individual hypersensitive reaction to either an individual ingredient or ingredients in the product, or from some other source While it is unfortunate anytime an allergic reaction occurs, regardless of the cause, TropiClean cannot predict individual hypersensitivities in animals and therefore would not be subject to compensate pet owners for random individual hypersensitive reactions to ingredients that are listed on the label of the product Therefore we must respectfully deny your request for compensation We do wish you and your pet the very best, and hope for a full recovery from this unfortunate reaction.”

Purchased a medicated shampoo due to the label stating for all dogs and all dog types there are no warnings side effects is said safe for all animals which turned out not to be the case with my dog first time didn't realize it was the shampoo the second time he swelled up to the fact within hours that he was losing hair around his eyes his paws we're so bad he couldn't walk on them I was counting down the minutes till the vet openedSo now I'm stuck with two vet bills that could have been avoided if they had any kind of labeling stating that there could be an adverse reaction I wouldn't have bought it

Good morning ***,
Thank you for purchasing and using this TropiClean grooming product The product you purchased is the most

We have
corresponded with the customer regarding their complaint. They had requested that our company pay for all of their vet bills. We had reviewed their request and determined that this incident was an individual hypersensitivity with an unknown cause and therefore, denied this requestAs a good will gesture from our company, we have chosen to honor the consumer request for refund of the $purchase price and will send this refund this week via first class mail

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Due to their due to their negligence and misrepresentation and no advisories warnings cautions or adverse effects listed there were two vet bills that were occurred that could have been avoided if this information  had been listed I provided company with all documentation that concludes it was the product If These Warnings had been listed I would have known the first time that it was the product and not had accrued two incidents which II being the worst I would have known the first time that it was the product and I wouldn't have continued using it. Due to their carelessness on labeling a medicated shampoo and not labeling correctly

We agreed that the consumer did things the correct way by contacting us and we believed we have done the same by  investigating the matter thoroughly.  We did make a determination that we would refund $15.00 as a good will gesture but we have also determined that we would not compensate for the vet bills. We have copied our explanation that we have previously sent regarding this matter below , and while we understand that you disagree with our conclusion, we will not be taking any additional actions in this case outside of what has been determined. Please see our explanation below. “Regarding the test of our retained sample for OxyMed Medicated Shampoo 20 oz Lot # [redacted]:After pulling the mixing production packet for the OxyMed Medicated Shampoo 20 oz (Lot# [redacted]), the lab double checked the production process, final specifications, and retained sample of the batch. They retested the product, and it matched previous COA results showing it was within specifications. Additionally, the lab tested the product for yeast/mold, coliform, and aerobic activity, and all tests were negative (for growth/contamination).  There were no formulation changes with this batch. This was a 1,600 gallon batch that was bottled as 9,420 bottles of 20 oz each. All of these bottles have shipped, and to date,  there have not been any other reports of adverse effects regarding this lot number.TropiClean uses the highest quality ingredients in all our products. Although none of the ingredients would be expected to cause a sensitization (allergic) reaction in the vast majority of exposed animals, a remote possibility exists that one or more animals in the general population who are allergic to one or more of them could exhibit a sensitization (allergic) reaction on contact.  Such an event, while expected to be rare, cannot be absolutely ruled out.Based on this information and the veterinarian findings, we have concluded that the animal in question experienced an individual hypersensitive reaction to either an individual ingredient or ingredients in the product, or from some other source.   While it is unfortunate anytime an allergic reaction occurs, regardless of the cause, TropiClean cannot predict individual hypersensitivities in animals and therefore would not be subject to compensate pet owners for random individual hypersensitive reactions to ingredients that are listed on the label of the product.  Therefore we must respectfully deny your request for compensation.  We do wish you and your pet the very best, and hope for a full recovery from this unfortunate reaction.”
