Review: I was a member of the tanning salon that was previously in the building that is now L.A Tan. When new ownership took over making it L.A Tan, I was told I needed to renew my contract and if I wanted to do any further tanning I would need to pay out of pocket. I chose not to renew my contract at this time and believed the automatic payments had stopped considering I was told I no longer had memebership through them. The contract I had originally signed was an agreement stating payments would be taken out the 1st of every month, and again, after the company changed names, I never resigned with them. My credit card that was on file does not get sent to my home address and in late May, I was notified by my grandmother who gets the monthly bill that I was being charged for tanning. I was very shocked to learn this, becasue as I have stated, I thought it was no longer active and I am six months pregnant so would have stopped it regardless or had I known would have used the membership seeing I was being charged without being aware of it. I immediatelt contacted the St. Francis location where they stated they could do nothing, and that I needed to call the corporate office in which I also contacted immediately after. I have tried to contact and connect with this company on four seperate occasions through email, phone, and voicemail. I had a call back one time and explained the story, the lady I spoke with on the phone was very polite and seemed to show concern of this misunderstanding. She looked into my account, ended my contract and stated she would have someone get back to me within the next week pertaining to the 21.99$ Ive been getting charged for the past ten months. I still have not had any calls or feedback and when you call there main line, it states all operators are busy and to call back at a later time, this occurs no matter what time of the day you call.Desired Settlement: I just would like you to help me get my money back from the past several months that I was unaware and told I no longer had a memebership.I am a very responsible person and would have either used the tanning or canceled the membership due to pregnancy or decreased income had I known that I was still being charged monthly.
