Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
The claims made by MrTroxel are easily refuted
First and foremost, the furnace owner’s manual states, “There are no provisions for an internal filter in these furnacesAn external filter rack is required and is purchased separately” (*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***, page 25). He just admitted that he installed the filter inside the furnace, which is clearly contrary to the manufacturer’s specifications
Second, I have saved the email conversations between me and MrTroxel as well as the price estimates and receipt. He never brought up the external filter rack and I never declined it. Why would I decline something that is a required component of the furnace?
Third, if he personally did not like me, that's fine, then he could have chosen not to take the job. However, he is the one who chose to submit a price estimate for the work, he is the one who chose to submit a revised price estimate when I asked if he could install a slightly larger furnace, and he is one who chose to take the job. When he first visited the house, he seemed like a nice guy and I like to support small, local businesses, especially when they are accredited with the Revdex.com
