I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The project manager from my kitchen company reviewed the sink installation in person yesterday and said yes the sink should have been installed before the countertop company does the template because the countertop company needs the sink in place and does not need to bring the sink with them, contradictory to what B&A said to me on the phoneThe project manager name is Sam Simmonds phone # ###-###-####Please contact him for the professional opinion in this caseWhether or not the sink should have been hooked up prior to the countertop installation or after, the fact of the matter is that the hook up should have been done properly but it's not

*** *** ** *** *** *** *** To whom it may Concern: B & A Plumbing and Heating Corphas been in business for over years and has also been a Revdex.com affiliate for quite some timeB & A has always taking pride in properly providing customer service to all our clients…and this includes *** *** ***. *** *** contacted our office because she was remodeling her kitchenShe called our office numerous times trying to figure out the cost for our services to install a sink ,faucet and hook up an ice maker water line in her refrigeratorThe office explained to her that our hourly rate is $an hour plus travel timeShe stated that it was too excessive and that she will think about it*** *** called back a week later, on the 11th of August, and decided to go ahead with the jobShe scheduled originally for the *** of August stating that her contractor should be done by thenThe office scheduled the job in our system for the *** as stated*** *** called in the beginning of the week and asked if she can schedule the work for the *** instead….so the job was moved up a dayOn the day of the *** a group of technicians took a drive out to *** *** *** As soon as the technicians arrived at the location, *** *** stated to them what was the jobMy technician stated that there was no counter top so he asked *** *** about the whereabouts of the counter topShe stated that it did not arrive but her contractor told her that the sink and faucet can still be installedMy technician told *** *** that the sink and faucet cannot be hooked up with out the counter top*** *** told them that she wants this job done and to hurry since she is paying by the hourThe technician hooked up the dishwasher and began working with the sink, he once again told her that it cannot be done but *** *** insisted that the work has to be done and in less than three hours timeThe technician did the best he could hooking up the sink by using the “books and materials” given to him by *** *** to make it workThe sink was hooked up according to what and how the customer wanted it doneAfter three hours and a half , *** *** told the technicians to leave everything as is and to charge herTechnician called the office and said that she wanted to be charged for the time .The work that was done was the dishwasher hook up and the sinkShe did not want to pay more than what she was about to pay*** *** was charged $for the amount of time that the technicians were there + travel timeThe technicians were paid and the job was closed The job itself was pushed by *** *** after the fact our technician advised her that the sink would be improperly installed the way she wanted it doneApparently the sink install began leaking so *** *** called and spoke to the owner, *** ***After *** *** stated that her contractor advised her that the installation of the sink can be done without the counter top; *** *** asked *** *** to have her contractor call him in order to find out how this is possibleMr Ausperger told *** *** that there is no professional contractor that will give such adviceUltimately, the work was done according to *** ***’s wishesB & A, as a company, warned *** *** about the improper way she wanted the installation of the sink but she refused to hear the reasoning behind it*** *** was told that we can go back, at the same hourly rate, and fix the sink scenario once the countertop is delivered and installedAs of today, we have not heard from the contractor but we did hear from the Revdex.comB & A provided a service to *** ***B & A provided professional information regarding the work which in the end was discardedB & A worked with *** *** to getting the work done as per her wishes and instructions of her contractorAny questions or concerns…please feel free to contact the office…###-###-####

They did not perform the job well to deserve the amount that they charged. They also left holes on my wooden floor. They are extremely incompetent.

On  the day of the incident, our mechanics were very insistent on stating that the scope of work of installing a sink and a faucet could not be completed with out a counter top . [redacted] was persistent in letting the mechanics know that she is paying by the hour and the work needed to get done. She stated that her contractor  stated that the work can be done with out the counter top. It must be stated that this job was originally scheduled a week ago before the [redacted](the [redacted]) . [redacted] called our office  and pushed it back a week; my thinking is that the contractor was not able to get the counter top in the first place. Once the mechanics arrived, they hooked up a washing machine and tried to hook up the sink as per [redacted] instructions. She provided the mechanic several books and boxes to use as a level in order to get the work done. The mechanic did his best in connecting the sink in accordance to [redacted] wishes. There was another  other job that needed to get done but [redacted] asked the guys to clean up since she was not paying any more for their time. The amount of $600.00 was interchanged for the time that we were there...3 hours of work and 1 hr of travel time which was originally discussed ahead of time. [redacted] stated that she planned only for three hours to get everything done and she was not going to pay any more. My guys cleaned up and were on their way. [redacted] also stated, after my guys left, that there were holes  made in an area.This was brought out after the complaint was made after the technicians left. At this point, the owner [redacted] has spoken to [redacted] a couple of times in regards to the work. We initially were paid for the labor that was exhausted for the day. B & A Plumbing and Heating has been in business for quite some time and no customer issues have been consulted in the past. This day we were asked to follow through with the job even after we gave the customer our experienced reasoning of not doing the work with out a counter top; but [redacted] requested the work to be done as her contractor recommended.B & A at this point will be standing pat in regards with the decision that was made to charge for the labor end of the work( not even materials were added to the job cost). As [redacted] stated to [redacted]...if she wanted us to go back and fix the work once the counter top was installed; it definitely will be at the original cost of $150.00 an hour + travel time. This was the original understanding and it will not change.
