The length of the project was outline in the contract which would be in effect until May 31st Project was completed and finalized as far as Troy-Designing responsibilities by 5/10/prior to date stated in the contract During review, sales person expressed concerns that client finished part of the basement without any permit and they did not have any fresh air intake to furnace Sales associate told them that inspector would have an issue with these items Client also requested to have a very basic basement finish in order to keep cost down Client received several bids and told sales person that they were very high compare to ours and Sales person explained to them that this is a very basic finish which is outlined in the contract specifically, Service Provided Area in the general service agreement, it specifies Drywall/Framing/No Electrical/Storage Area/One Main Room/Open Space/Cover Load Bar/Oversize Doors Very basic finish which was quoted and explained to client. Client requested further work behind scoped out work Patch work, Sanding down in order to prep for painting, and detailed work which sales person explained the client again that this was not on the scope of workCity of Bertoud which is connected to Greeley did necessary inspections and passed all inspections except electrical (hired by client) Troy-Designing did not provide any electrical services for this project Client purchased their own electrician from *** *** ***Areas are opened and cut out performed by troy designing according to electrician's boxes, it is not troy-designing responsibility to identify electrical boxesIt is electrician and client's responsibility to mark or place electrical boxes If they were not properly identified, it is not troy-designing's responsibility to make adjustment or work on electrical Work was completed by troy-designing 5/10/and inspector passed mechanical and frame/insulation but failed electrical It is client's responsibility to manage contractors and electrician which hired by the client independently. Insulation was not included in the contract, client wanted us to use their material which we did but, it was not enough so we supplemented with our materials even tough it was not in the quote We covered the cost for this item along with labor due to commitment to our serviceIn the contract we also cover additional charges up to $per contract. Additional Cost inquired $Insulation labor (which was not included), Patch and Tape/Sand 988.45, and we wrote off $1,from the final bill which totals up to 5,well above what client is claimingOur company's position that we feel client is properly compensated Any further communication will be referred to our legal advisorClient request taped and recorded in order to show evidence that our client wanted a basic basement with low cost and stated that she will finish the walls We gave three quotes which show different stages of the workClient is requesting items which are not listed on the contract Attached is the contract.Troy-Designing Customer Service
