I ordered a product over 3 months ago. Still haven't received delivery or response from business of it's estimated delivery date. I ordered 2 items from Troy Ind. on Feb. 24th 2013. Order #[redacted], customer ID [redacted], I ordered one gas block([redacted]) and one barrel nut([redacted]), paid with a master card in the amount of $65.50. At the time I placed the order the products appeared to be in stock. After placing the order I received a confirmation email stating that they had a large increase in orders, and that they had no way of knowing what they had in stock or when products could be shipped. On March 25th 2013 I emailed the company asking about my order. On March 26th I received a reply to my email stating that they did not know when the order would be ready for delivery and that were working to ensure I receive my product in a timely manner. On April 24th they finally sent my a package containing only half of my order. One month later on May 25th I sent them another email stating that I was tired of waiting for the remainder of my order and gave them one more week to deliver it or I would be forced to take actions. After that one week was up I had still not received my product nor a reply to my email.Desired SettlementPlease ship my order immediately or cancel order.Business' Initial Response [redacted]RE: Revdex.com Case 234930Dear [redacted]:We sincerely apologize for the delay in your order shipment and hope to resolve the matter to your satisfaction. Given the state of our industry, we experienced higher than normal order volumes over the course of the past several months. While we do our best to ensure adequate inventory of all of our products, the truth is, we were unable, in all instances, to keep up with customer demand. Our sales staff has looked into your order, number [redacted], and we unfortunately will not have the gas block you requested, part number [redacted], in stock for another 4-6 weeks. We want to resolve the issue to your satisfaction. If you would like to cancel this portion of your order we can gladly do so. Or, if you would prefer, we can retain your order in our system and keep you apprised of the inventory status. Please note that you have not been charged for this portion of your order, nor will you be charged until such time as the product is shipped out to you. Please email [redacted] with your decision on the gas block, or phone the Sales Department at [redacted]. Any one of our sales team members would be glad to assist you. They have been apprised of your situation and will do their best to rectify it.Again, please accept our apologies for the difficulty you experienced during your ordering process. Know that we are continuously trying to improve the customer experience at Troy. We hope that all future dealings with our company are pleasant.Best regards,[redacted]Troy Industries, Inc.

Troy refuses to Honor discounts promised/granted to Test and Evaluation Team Members...Troy sent emails to Test & Eval members for an addtl 25% off a sale that everyone already had rec'v'ed 25% off, T&E members to get 50%. Troy Will not Honor the orders now... They did not program the T&E code correctly, so members had to stack codes to get the proper discount (troys system was programmed to allow stack)... they have now claimed that stacking is combining offers and is not allowed, well if they gave T&E a proper code, we would not need to stack in the first place, so it is an error on their part and they should honor their word, but refuse to... While I was working with someone else, who verified that I was, in fact, part of the T&E team, someone from sale went and cancelled my order... this was after they charged my bank account and then lied saying they never put through the charge... From my Bank:CHECKCARD Troy Industries XXX-XXXXXXX MA ON 07/05 How's that for not processing the charge... Liars all around... So not only do I lose out on a promised deal, have to wait for my funds to re-post back into my account, I also lost out on other sales I could have done if I knew how Bad Troy was going to treat customer, let alone Troy Team members...Desired SettlementI want my order with the pricing that was promised...Business Response TROY INDUSTRIES, INC.'S RESPONSE TO Revdex.com COMPLAINT CASE #XXXXXXIn Case #XXXXXX, [redacted] asserts that he was offered 50% off sales on the Troy Industries, Inc. web site but did not receive the benefit of this offer. Mr. [redacted]'s assertions and conclusions are incorrect. He was offered the opportunity to purchase Troy products at a 25% discount. Contrary to the specific wording of the offerwhich did not permit it to be combined with other offersMr. [redacted] attempted to "stack" coupon codes which would have resulted in a discount of nearly 60%. BACKGROUND: TROY(r) INDEPENDENCE DAY SALETroy announced a 25% sale for Independence Day weekend. In addition to receiving 25% off the entire order, customers participating in the sale were offered a free BattleMagTM with every order and free UPS shipping on all orders of $100 and above. To better understand and evaluate Troy's marketing efforts, different promotional codes were created which would track how customers learned of the sale. The different codes were designed only for internal purposes: to evaluate how we reach our customers. The sales literature, including the details on the web site landing page, unambiguously stated that the promotional code customers received "cannot be combined with any other offers." In addition, the promotional codes were only offered to retail customers and excluded certain products. All of the advertising relating to the sale featured Troy's "Independence Carbine" and specified either that the final price would be "$499 with coupon code" or: $499OUR LOWEST PRICE OF THE SEASON!ACT FAST, LIMITED QUANTITIES!PRICE REFLECTED AT TIME OF CHECKOUT AFTER PROMOTIONAL CODE HAS BEEN APPLIED.Unfortunately, a glitch in the computer system improperly permitted customers to "stack" coupon codes. Some enterprising customer posted on web discussion boards instructions on how to exploit this computer glitch, creating a massive influx of order requests. Troy corrected the glitch on Saturday, July 5, 2014. Troy sent an email to each customer who had submitted an order request notifying them that Troy could not honor "stacked" promotional codes. While several disgruntled customers protested, many Troy customers understood the unintended glitch and elected to proceed with their order at the intended 25% discount. Troy did not process any orders without specific instructions from the customer. Troy's computer order system does not create final orders. When a customer places an order request online, he or she receives an email confirmation of the order request and a "pre-authorization" is made to the customer's credit card. Every order request is reviewed by a Troy Customer Service representative before it is finalized. Troy does not charge the customer's credit card until the order is shipped to the customer. THIS CUSTOMER'S ORDERMr. [redacted] submitted an order request for two BattleMags. The regular retail price for one BattleMag is $15.00. Properly using the promotional codes, the cost of Mr. [redacted]'s order was $22.50. He would have received a free BattleMag with his order, but would not have received free shipping. Mr. [redacted] attempted to combine three codes. The first code "FOURTH-TE" was sent to Mr. [redacted] as a member of a special Troy customer group. The email sent with this code stated: "This Sale is for the T&E Team only and cannot be combined with any other offers." The second code "FOURTH-SM" was offered through a social media landing page. This page stated: "This Sale is for retail customers only and cannot be combined with any other offers." The third code "FOURTH" was found on the troyind.com landing page and stated: "This Sale is for retail customers only and cannot be combined with any other offers." The combination of these codes was not permitted. Customers were notified of this fact by the clear terms associated with the codes. Troy did not charge Mr. [redacted]'s credit card for his order request. Because he did not wish to proceed with his requested order in accordance with its proper terms, his order was canceled and any pre-authorization to his method of payment was released. CONCLUSIONTroy Industries, Inc. has apologized for the confusion created by its creation of different promotional codes. Troy regrets that Mr. [redacted] was inconvenienced by the computer error and values his membership in Troy Team T&E. Troy cannot, however, sell him BattleMags at the nearly 60% discount he requested. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)While dealing with a Troy Rep through Private Message on Facebook, Troy acknowledged the wording in their Offer to Test and Eval members did indeed reference a additional 25% discount above what was offered to rank and file customers... He stated that they had to verify that I was part of T&E after he did that, he said it was kicked up to "HQ" and that was the last contact I had with him, Troy has refused further dialog and cancelled the order... I even gave Troy Permission to charge my card an additional amount to reflect the proper price for the 50% off offered price (addtl info: I was not the only T&E member that understood we were offered an addtl 25% off and TROY acknowledged that also) I did not request or insist on 60% off... In order to get the implied 50% discount, stacking coupons was a necessity... the stacking WAS NOT a computer error... through my own experience with webpage coding and confirmed by others, TROY's eCommerce system was programmed to accept/ not programmed to deny stacked discount codes... it is not something normally caused by a simple glitch as Troy claims; in addition, Troy had this "same error" earlier this year during another promotion they ran and they picked and chose orders to honor and deny... This info was given by a multitude of customers that were involved in that... this is a pattern of conduct with TROY Ind... Troy indicates in their response that "combination of these codes were not permitted" and that customers were notified of that... In Reality, they never said multiple codes could not be used... out of the 5 offers they sent out, SOME had "cannot be combined with other offers" not all offers dictated that and Troy, after the fact changed all their offers to reflect that. there are customer screen shots posted proving this, so Troy again is being deceptive. Is it combining offers when using different codes for the SAME OFFER, or to get the promised discount because TROY did not program their codes correctly??? I think not... If they treat a product tester like this, I can just imagine how they treat others... From the Offer Troy sent : Team Troy T&E Members enjoy anEXTRA 25% off your orderJuly 2nd - 6thWith Coupon Code FOURTH-TEANDOnly retail customers are eligible to participate in this promotionSo TROY also saw T&E as retail customers, so they offered Retail customers 25% off using the code FORTH (as they admit in their response) and this was on their main Portal page to the sale and their email to T&E clearly stated an EXTRA (capitals by them) 25%... this all had to be proof read and authorized... so if it was a mistake, it was overlooked on multiple levels and should have been honored... TROY refuses to even admit they made an error and blames this all on a made-up computer error... there was no "enterprising customer" that posted an exploit leading to a massive influx of orders... this was listed on MANY Deals websites(slickdeals.com for example) as 'savings of up to 60%" and a link to products page that skipped the sale Portal Page and any reference "cannot combine"... this again has been proven by many customer screen shots posted on a multitude of Forums... Yes, someone did post in Forum that stacking codes worked (so half-truth by TROY) but it did not start that way...Also, this went on for days before TROY started backpeddling, stopped the system from stacking, etc... Why? there is proof people were working at TROY, they were responding to customer issues while this was all happening, so they cannot claim ignorance... They did not start responding to this matter until most other July 4th sales were over or would be over by the time customer money, tied up in TROY orders, would become avail again from a cancelled order, a tactic to lead customers to keep their TROY order, but at the higher modified price... bit of a bait and switch, customer manipulation...TROY was caught with their pants down and in response, has resorted to half-truths and out-right lies instead of dealing with customers in a honorable way... If the stacking was not intentionally left active, then admit your webpage folk screwed up, give some discount to be used at a later date, etc... but as with the T&E offer and IIRC one other group, it was clear, that an additional discount was being offered... stand by what you offered those customers...As you can see, my order was pitifully small, but yet, I am pushing this for all it's worth... This is because TROY's actions are wrong on the most fundamental and base level... it is not about trying to get one over on them, it is about getting TROY to be honorable in their business practices or making them face the consequences if they choose to do otherwise... Unfortunately, with their above response, it appears they have chosen to do otherwise; seeing how they are sticking with their half-truths, outright lies, and a blind eye to now apparent negligent mistakes by it's staff... It is time for TROY to act like an adult, admit it has done it's customers wrong, and to start making amends... Final Business Response Contrary to Mr. [redacted]' assertions, Troy made only true statements in its original response to Mr. [redacted]' complaint. Different coupon codes existed solely for internal purposes: to track how customers learned of the sale to better understand and evaluate Troy's marketing efforts. Troy never intended the codes to be "stacked." Troy never authorized any web site or message board to instruct customers to stack coupon codes. The web sites publishing instructions about stacking codes are not affiliated with Troy and their communications were not authorized by Troy. Even if Mr. [redacted] received a T&E offer which did not specify that it could not be combined with other offers (which Troy disputes), the other two codes Mr. [redacted] used clearly did include this language: The second code "FOURTH-SM" was offered through a social media landing page. This page also stated that the sale "cannot be combined with any other offers." The third code "FOURTH" was found on the troyind.com landing page and stated that the sale "cannot be combined with any other offers." Thus, any combination of these codes was not authorized and was not intended. Troy does not sell its products at inflated prices with high margins that would allow discounts at the level that Mr. [redacted] has requested. Troy regrets that Mr. [redacted] was inconvenienced by the computer error and values his membership in Troy Team T&E. Troy cannot, however, sell him BattleMags at the nearly 60% discount he requested. Troy renews its offer: to resolve this matter, Troy will re-instate Mr. [redacted]' order request in accordance with the intended terms: 25% off the retail price, plus a free BattleMag(r).

During 4th of July weekend they ran sales that various discount codes. The site allowed stacking, they refuse to honor what was offered.During the 4th of July weekend Troy Ind. (TI), ran a promotion offering a discount. It was on several social media pages "Up to 60% off" when you apply the following codes FOURTH, FOURTH-PR and FOURTH-SM. On Saturday 7-5-14 at 5:18am I placed order #XXXXX for the amount of $101.24 for 2 sets of Troy Battle Sights. On Sunday 7-6-14 I received an email stating that they would not honor my order as they were only going to honor one code per transaction. From my google search thru the order completion there was nothing about code restrictions and their website allowed the three codes to be used. I have been in email contact with a representative by the name of [redacted] who refuses to honor the contract entered into when I placed the order. I have requested numerous times that they fill my order yet they refuse. They have a hold on my checking account in the amount of $101.24 since 7-5-14 and to date have not shipped my merchandise. It is my understanding that this is not the first time they have done a "promotion" only to change the "rules" after orders are placed.Desired SettlementI want the merchandise I ordered for the amount it was offered for at the time of purchase. They have my money tied up, I simply want my merchandise.Business Response In Case #XXXXXX, [redacted] asserts that Troy Industries, Inc. ("Troy") has a hold on his checking account but has not shipped his order and makes assertions regarding promotional codes associated with Troy's Independence Day sale. Mr. [redacted] has resolved his order concerns with Troy(r) and his order has been delivered to him. BACKGROUND: TROY(r) INDEPENDENCE DAY SALETroy announced a 25% sale for Independence Day weekend. Some enterprising customer posted on web discussion boards instructions on how to exploit this computer glitch, creating a massive influx of order requests. Troy corrected the computer glitch on Saturday, July 5, 2014. Troy sent an email to each customer who had submitted an order request notifying them that Troy could not honor "stacked" promotional codes. The order was shipped on July 16 and was delivered on July 21, 2014. CONCLUSIONTroy Industries, Inc. has apologized for the confusion created by its creation of different promotional codes. No refund has been sent.I purchased a T-22 TRX tactical chassis kit from Troy Industries on 11/12/2013. Invoice # XXXXXX. Been waiting two months on product that was supposedly shipped. Have contacted numerous times and they either ship the wrong part or ship nothing. Spoke with a representative on March 3rd 2013 about a part on my Troy BattleRail MRF-MX10 that had broken out. The representative said that she would have the replacement part sent out that week. She never sent it. I recontacted them and they again sent the part out but when it arrived it was just a screw which was not what I needed. I recontacted them again and they resent yet another part and when it arrived it was the wrong color. I recontacted them again, about it being the wrong color and they said they shipped the correct one but it never arrived. I was personally assured by a [redacted] that he shipped the proper piece to me this time and he supposedly did it while we were on the phone. I haven't received the part. I emailed to try to get a confirmation that he sent it and they won't return my email. Desired SettlementI want the proper piece sent to me that was promised to me several months back. It is the *TAN* Barrel Clamp and Screws for the Troy BattleRail MRF-MX10.I received an email yesterday with a tracking number stating that the part is being sent again.

THIS CUSTOMER'S ORDERMr. [redacted] submitted an order request for one of the promotional "Independence Carbines" which was advertised with a final price of $499 after the promotional codes and a sight. The original retail price for these two products was $784.33. Properly using the promotional codes, the cost of Mr. [redacted]'s order was $588.25. His credit card was not charged when he placed the order request, although a pre-authorization of the card was made. As a result of the Independence Day promotions, he received a free BattleMag with his order and free shipping. Two of these three codes had explicit terms barring their combination with other codes: The code "FOURTH" was found on the troyind.com landing page and stated that the sale "cannot be combined with any other offers." The code "FOURTH-SM" was offered through a social media landing page. This page also stated that the sale "cannot be combined with any other offers." The combination of these codes was not permitted. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Where I found the coupon codes had said nothing about the stacking of coupon codes .the money was removed from my account so I was unable to purchase anything else from other companies that were having great sales on the 4th of July I never received any emails ,and what I've read on many other sites they do this quite often offering a low price then not fulfilling the order .Final Business Response In response to Mr. [redacted]'s rebuttal, Troy re-states the following: Troy is not aware of where Mr. [redacted] read about the coupon codes, but the communication from Troy unambiguously stated that codes cannot be combined. The web sites publishing instructions about stacking codes are not affiliated with Troy and their communications were not authorized by Troy. Troy did not remove any money from Mr. [redacted]'s account. If Mr. [redacted] submitted an email address when he attempted to place an order, he was sent a follow-up email from Troy. All customers who attempted to place orders over the Independence Day weekend were sent an email explaining the coupon codes. Troy stands by its products and its sales. Troy rejects whatever hearsay Mr. [redacted] has relied upon in making his response. Troy fulfills the orders placed by its customers. Troy Industries, Inc. has apologized for the confusion created by its creation of different promotional codes. Troy regrets that Mr. [redacted] was inconvenienced by the computer error. I ordered an upgrade to a part and sent it in via USPS with $150 insurance. They never sent my part back to me and charged me for the upgrade.5/25/13 I contacted Troy Industries about an upgrade part for my rifle sight. I was told that I had to send it in, at that point they would upgrade and send back. I have contacted them on multiple occasions asking about MY sight specifically and they told me it was on back order (5/29/13, 7/6/13, 2/2/14, 8/27/14.) Purchase orders also came through notifying me of charges on my account for the upgrade (5/25/13 and 5/29/13.) On 8/23/14 I asked for clarification on this issue and where my sight was at. At that point I just wanted my part back. Also, I should mention that this sight was laser engraved with the Ruger fire arms emblem and is not easy to find since they come in pairs with the firearm I bought. 8/26/14 I was told that there was no record of me or my purchase in the [redacted] Industries computer systems. On 8/27/14 Troy asked for a tracking number for the package I sent and I promptly gave them this number. They replied that "since it had been over a year they could not track this number". The post office told me the same thing. Now, had I know this "year" cutoff existed or that they had no idea where my sight was I would have looked into where the package ended up sooner. Why is my purchase not still in their system? I have email threads and invoices to back all of this up.Desired SettlementI want exactly what I sent in. Which is this part, and the Tritium upgrade that I payed for.[redacted]I would also like compensation for all of this stress, time wasted with this massive email thread, and absolute disappointment in a company that I supported and recommended and was a model of American business in my eyes.Business Response we are investigating but intend to provide a remedy to this consumer.
