Let's just say that if Tru Auto Transport had just charged for services as a broker and not included the fees for the actual transporting of my car, a whole lot of aggravation would have been avoided. Instead, I have heard about a sick grandmother, three kids in college, an eviction notice, and the very unfortunate death of her husband.
All because of $900 charged on my card and $500 paid to the trucker when my car reached its final destination. Quote was $900 delivered.

I attempted using Tru Auto Transport and spoke with the owner and only employee, [redacted]. I received a $900 quote to move a car approximately 2500 miles. [redacted] later told me that price was "impossible" and repeatedly attempted to get me to pay more. This is quite a crude and unscrupulous tactic. It is bait and switch. I also found [redacted] to be very unprofessional and quite brash. She repeatedly warned me of the tactics other companies would use, only to partake in the tactics she advised to avoid. She bad mouthed other companies, I think in an effort to make her appear better than she was. She sent me a series of hostile texts and emails when I tried to compare quotes. She then essentially accused me of lying to her regarding my dealings with other companies. After a heated argument, I "fired" her and went with another company that was very easy to deal with. Customer service does not appear to be [redacted]'s specialty.
