Tru Solutions Utah Moving Company Reviews (%countItem)

I had a wonderful experience hands down best moving company in Utah.

While moving my household items from *** to ***, several items were broken. Most of the items broken cannot be replaced, however there is a 5-drawer dresser that was damaged and is not able to be repaired. I reported this damaged to Tru-Solutions by email within the 7 day time period they required. Each time I contacted them about this item, they acknowledged they would make it right, but now they are no longer responding. This item was purchased approximately 7 years ago and is no longer available for purchasing an exact duplicate. There is no manufacturer information on the dresser. I was also overcharged in the amount of $40.50 for the packing day, which I was promised would be credited back to me. The amount quoted for that day was $102/hour for 6.75 hours which would be $688.50 but instead I was charged $729.00. It still has not been returned to me.

Great company don’t listen to the negative reviews this company is hands down the best...

Their two movers dropped our brand-new refrigerator on the front steps of our house while bringing it inside, causing major dents and numerous large scrapes. One of the movers said the damage was so bad that it will need to be replaced. He said their boss, Larry, will take care of it. After speaking with Larry over the phone and emailing him photos of the damage, he promised his insurance adjuster will contact me within a week. After over a week of not hearing from anyone, I emailed the company for an update and was told they forwarded the information to their insurance company. It's been over two weeks and no contact from any insurance company. Tru Solutions also stopped responding to our inquiries. Unfortunate because the movers were polite and very helpful.

Employees Kevin and Lazaras from Tru Solutions Moving damaged a China Closet by dragging the top piece across the bottom piece, basically not lifting it up and putting deep scratches in it, and also chipping one of the glass shelves inside. The employees had me talk to the Manager of the company Larry L, who assured me the china cabinet would be fixed to look like new. Numerous phone calls to Larry were made with him promising to call back and have a Paul who works on fixing repairs for the company also give me a call to schedule when the repairs would be made. He even fabricated a date when he would put me on the schedule, That date came and went. After numerous phone calls to Larry and schedules made to fix my damages come and gone, the last conversation I had with Larry was that my address was too far out and that he would like to have his workers come and pickup the china closet and take it to their warehouse. This approach to fixing it was not what was agreed upon, is unacceptable to me, and I was told by the workers the day it happened that someone would come and take care of the problem, which Larry L agreed would happen on the day of the move. So I paid the company $835 on 6-5-2019 for their moving of a few pieces of furniture with the assurance that my China Cabinet would be repaired promptly and to look like new. It's now been virtually 3 weeks since the damage was done, and still no call back as to when the problem would be fixed. I suspect they're trying to get out of fixing the China Cabinet since it cost them money; but if I knew then what I know now, I would not have paid them until the China Cabinet was repaired. I made good on my end, and they need to make good on their end also, thus I'm filing this complaint to try to get some resolution to the problem.

Too bad I’m forced to give one star to leave a rating. Please avoid these people at all costs and hire a reputable company that does not have a history of hiring criminals and thieves. Tru Solutions Moving LLC was recommenced to me by U-Haul in Bountiful, UT in May 2019. I contacted the company and spoke with Larry who sounded professional at the time. The day before my move, “Michelle” a.k.a Tyler (the owner) asked if they could come and move my things an hour early on moving day (May 30, 2019). I told her no and that I would keep my original time of 3:30. The day of the move, Casey (one of the guys who stole my designer handbags) called me and asked if he and his crew could come and move my things 3 hours early because they had time in between jobs. I told him no and told him they could come at 3:30. These guys (Brandon, Kristerpher or Kris, and Casey) stole 3 designer handbags which contained personal items such as jewelry, checkbooks, and designer sunglasses! I alerted the moving company and they did nothing about it. The “owner” of the company still has not contacted me to even so much as ask about the theft on part of her employees or anything! Larry called me 2 weeks ago on Friday to disclose that Tru Solutions has released the identity of the guys on the moving job to police, yet he and the other owners of the company has failed as a bonded and insured company to file a claim with their insurance company, provide me with their insurance information, or tried to resolve this issue with me on any level!
Please stay away from them as Larry has also admitted that the company hired a convicted felon last year who stole 5 pairs of Jordan Nike’s on a Moving assignment, yet Tru Solutions complied with police in releasing information about this employee as well as filed an insurance claim on behalf of the victims so that they could repurchase the tennis shoes. The total amount of goods Tru Solutions employees stole from me are well over the value of 5 pairs of Jordans! Please also note that Larry is one of the owners of the company and is the boyfriend or fiancé of the other owner of the company, Tyler M.
Also, please be mindful and do your due diligence on how this company will ignore your phone calls when you have any type of issue with them...the information is all over the internet-don’t just read the fake reviews their friends and family write for them on this site and others. The owner, Tyler M, is a very shady criminal and currently has criminal history documented with the courts-please do not hire Tru Solutions Moving! They no they are in deep trouble when they have someone write a fake post stating “I am a single mom...”
They knew I that I’m a single mother so they came into my apartment stealing and knowing we were leaving out of state the next day.

I would give zero stars if I could. My client signed up for cleaning services with Tru Solutions through the U-Haul website. Twice she was told they would be coming out to clean her vacant house. Twice I went over and unlocked the house for them to come clean. They never showed up, which meant the house was unlocked and unsecured for many hours. My client tried calling and calling and finally asked me to get involved. I spoke to several different people who all promised the cleaners would be coming out soon. One person claimed to be the manager. They all promised if they couldn't get one of their cleaning crews out that day, they would come clean it themselves. Still no one ever showed up. I called and called and left several messages. I came to the conclusion they were dodging my calls, because they would answer the phone if I called from a different number and make more promises about coming out to clean. They never came. We eventually closed on the house and my client requested a refund. This was a completely unprofessional way to handle business. We were lied to over and over again.

They helped me packing my furniture and loading it in the truck. They did not take my bed apart and when I arrived to my destination my bed was broken and can't be repair.

Great company very professional and consistently working..

I had a horrible experience with this company. I left a small 1600 sq ft home with one bedroom furniture, a music room and a desk from my craft room. A fridge had to be moved and a washer/ dryer set taken to my storage unit, which is directly in route to my new house. I was quoted 4 hours with 3 men. It took them 10 hours to load, drive 10 miles, and unload. I still had my own kitchen to do and my craft supplies myself plus we put boxes in a 10x20 storage unit. Complaints are: dragged my white mattress across the garage floor with the plastic cover 1/4 of the way off which has now ruined my warranty. They did not pack my patio 2 heavy chairs and a smoker even though I reminded them twice to not forget. They didn't use furniture gliders and gouged my wood floors in one spot, broke my bed frame support and didn't bother to tell me. Nicked the walls in a few places and lastly didn't measure the space in old house and new house to see if they could move the fridge and instead spent 3 hours trying to figure it out. They did measure in the end. Why did this take 10 hours for a small/ medium moving truck? And, lets not forget my email complaint was not responded to. The crew and company are not professional otherwise they would have assessed how long it would really take and get a bigger or more experience crew out. The supervisor even stopped by and didn't assess the time taken and would take. I should have paid more to pay less because at $115 an hour it was not worth the extra cost to go with a cheaper bid. The fact the one mover had not idea how to put together a basic bed frame is beyond me and had no idea how to move a fridge or how to disconnect one. He broke the copper wire at the base of the fridge. Hope it can be fixed. I think we all get the jest of how bad my experience was. 3 hours of wasted time and inexperience should not be at my cost but it was. Done!

Great company, with excellent customer service! the movers were even better what made me and my wife go with Tru Solutions was the live videos on their website! not a lot of companies do that and it’s really helpful to see how they work not only that but there prices are affordable thanks again you guys are awesome

I am not the happiest customer at the moment and I’m hoping that will change.
I called to get a quote on moving my gun safe as well as the rest of our 2 bedroom apartment. I did not leave anything out regarding the gun safe. I told them, it is very heavy. It took 5 guys to get it into the apartment. It’s well over 800 pounds. The gal on the phone said that’s no problem, we have shoulder straps that can help the guys move 1000 pounds. I said okay and gave her the information on stairs and exactly where it would be going stairs and everything.
Then comes the day of the move. I was told they would be there at 9am. They were a HOUR late. My husband and I greeted them and told them EVERYTHING they see would be moving. I was ready for them and had everything packed. After about 3 hours into the move I noticed things were moving VERY slowly even with my kids helping. I didn’t not want this costing me a thousand bucks and my husband told them to focus on the heavy stuff which they had barely started getting to. Needless to say I was getting frustrated. They then tried to get the safe and we were told they couldn’t do it but the boss would buy a different dolly and they could come back or they would quote a different company with a discount ( I have yet to get that quote). Now fast forward another 2 hours they have finished unloading our items into our new house. Things were scattered EVERYWHERE - it was not placed in a organized fashion. And I get the bill - close to $700 I immediately felt taken advantage. They did not move the entire 2 bedroom apartment. I asked them to put more items in the truck they said it was full - mind you they didn’t pack the truck very well - and if it was packed better they could have fit everything. We had to go back later that night with friends and move the rest of the items. Our safe is still sitting at the apartment.

Now I start unpacking items and looking around the house and there is damage everywhere.
I start talking to the company and after a week they still don’t have a resolution for me. I feel taken advantage of and the full service was not completed.
