His reply of a minor accident is far from the truthboth front and rear were smashed inAnd again I was not informed of thisI have the proof of how bad the damage was which I will bring into court if need beIm not going to keep going back and forth with thisI want there final offer for resolution to make this rightOr I will be proceeding to the next levelIm not going to let this goThey need to and will do what is right will that

At the time of sale, we found the vehicle to be sold in working order as described. We understand that some customers expect a thirteen year old vehicle with 167,miles on it to be like new. At Yates, we do our best to represent our vehicles in the condition they are in, and recondition them to the best of our ability for the vehicle to be sold at a fair market value. Again, the vehicle was sold "as is" and the sale price of the vehicle reflected the year and mileage, with no warranties or guarantees verbally or written.Brent N***General Manager

We have addressed this customer and have given a full refund. Unfortunately the customer falsified information therefore his original approval was unable to be obtained. He then proceeded to keep our truck for days and put mile on it after repeated calls for return. He still
has the books on the vehicle that I would like to be returned for the new owner. Tyler Y***

The statements that were made by Ed T*** in the response are inaccurateAttached is an affidavit statement provided by myself that contain more specific details of the events. The vehicle was in the legal possession of Yates Buick GMC at both times when the damage occurredIt would not be a good business practice to take responsibility for damage to a vehicle that you did not cause (windshield tint)That is a clear excuse to now deny any involvement after the fact. Being that the vehicle was in the legal possession of Yates they should be held responsible for any damage occurred while in their possessionThis is basic rule of life that can be applied to many applications. I do not feel confident in Yates Service Department to perform any repairs of "ANY" type, especially one's that would involve complex mattersI request that any other reputable Chevrolet or GMC dealership perform the repairs to the dash and Yates provide financial reimbursement to them directly

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] It is true they offered me to cancel the contract but were the business is being dishonest is that I did not decline, I told the sales manager *** that I would like to take his offer in flat line canceling the contract, and *** said okay im going to get a hold of the bank to cancel and he would get back to me, like I stated on the complaint this is where they kept dragging their feet and giving me the run around after I would try contacting them and leaving various voicemails until *** finally answered me about a week later after his offer and thats when he told me that it was too late to cancel the contractif they would actually do what they offer, keep their word and not purposely let time drag on since I asked for the repairs to be made, we wouldnt be heretheres no way that a transmission and oil pan wet by engine oil can pass any inspection also it's ridiculous that they sell you a yates advantage warranty for dollars that claims to have a peace at mind warranty, covering under it "seals and gaskets" and wont fix my oil pan "gasket" so much for peace at mind regardless the vehicle being used yates sold me a car that should have never passed any inspections and warranty that they dont assume responsibility for.

The 2005 Chevrolet Silverado (VIN: 1GCHC23225F826338) was put through a vehicle inspection per ticket number 122945 on 09/29/2017, prior to being sold to the customer on 10/07/2017. At that time, the truck was found to be in working order.  Upon purchase of the vehicle, the customer declined...

purchase of any Extended Service Contract.  The customer also signed an "as is" Buyer's Guide at the time of purchase, understanding the vehicle did not have any Factory Warranty remaining and the dealer was not making specific promises to fix things that need repair after the time of sale.  After three weeks, the customer brought the vehicle in for a Power Steering Hose Leak.  Yates offered the customer $300.00 in assistance of the repair as an act of "Good Faith". Please see attachments.  Thank you,Brent N[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] purchased a 2016 Ford Escape from Yates Buick GMC on 07/05/2017 for the purchase price of $16500.00.  He attempted to trade the vehicle in on November 17th, 2017.  The vehicle had been in a minor accident from prior ownership but in no way effected the trade-in value of the Mr....

[redacted]'s vehicle.  The used vehicle market is a fluid one and vehicle values go up and down weekly.  We also figure in a dollar amount of reconditioning with every trade-in appraisal given.  The auction value of the Escape at the time also played into our appraisal value given for the vehicle.  Brent N[redacted]General Manager

We have gone above and beyond to help this customer.  We put $2100 dollars of reconditioning to this vehicle in question.  It is safe and very nice used car key word being used.  It is not new a new car but was well taken care of purchased with us traded...

back to us. The vehicle was very well inspected and reconditioned there is nothing out of the ordinary for a car of this age.  We gave him the option to get out of his contract he declined.   There will be no further action.

Yes we have resloved his issue.  He was in fact given a 90 day coverage on a 2005 car which normally does not quallify. Due to are mistake we are happy to honor this and  have done so already. [redacted]  [redacted] Please call if you have any questions

First of all, apparently  your idea of “working order” must consist of only drive, reverse and park as stated by the GM only after we found the issues. And yes, I did say issues, you only mentioned the one leak when we both know there was three found. I also already mentioned that I did sign a “as is” document, but again that was based on PROPER vehicle inspection that was guaranteed by the dealership that the vehicle had NO prior issues. Clearly three leaks on a vehicle that was drove a total of 4 times (again not a daily commuter) is absurd to claim that your certified dealership and mechanics did not find those leaks.  It is also obvious that an 05 vehicle would not have a factory warranty, so mentioning that is asinine. We purchased from what we thought was a reputable dealership, in order to avoid an issue such as this, otherwise I would have been just as good going through a buy here pay here establishment. In short, I will not bother continuing this pointless debate, I have already filed a complaint with the attorney general’s office and if need be I will also find legal consultation. Bottom line is you lied about the condition of the vehicle to gain a sale, which is fraud, and when confronted with the matter you did not take responsibility instead offered an insulting assistant repair on the issue. Any other dealership would have handled the matter and owed up to their mistake.

[redacted] purchased a 2014 Dodge dart from Yates Buick GMC on June 11, 2016. The $2000 that Mr. [redacted] gave to Yates Buick GMC was for the down payment of the vehicle that $2000 was used towards the purchase and included in the financing. The loan was secured and funded through capital one auto...

finance. The reason that Mr. [redacted] has not had his vehicle is because the vehicle was involved in an accident while Mr. [redacted] or his wife was driving. At the time they had no full coverage insurance on the vehicle they had let their insurance lapse. So the vehicle has been at Yates Buick GMC in the service facility waiting for Mr. [redacted] to be able to pay for the repairs. Mr [redacted] can come pick up his vehicle at any time. Again to reiterate, the vehicle was involved in a crash while he had it and he is since unable to pay for the subsequent damage. The loan is with capital one auto finance and his contract clearly states that he put $2000 down towards the purchase.Brent N[redacted]General Sales ManagerYates Buick GMC

[redacted] brought his vehicle in for service on November 15, 2016 and we performed routine service. When he retrieved his vehicle he stated that we scratched his tint on his windshield and wanted it repaired, we have no way knowing if the scratch was their prior to our repairs or not, and in the...

interest of customer satisfaction we agreed to replace the tint on the windshield. The problem was he did not want us to do it and we could not tint it anyway because it is unlawful for us to tint the complete windshield, so we paid “his guy” to remove and tint the front windshield. Then later not sure of the date [redacted] called and said that his dash is cracked and he stated the he has done research and that GM should replace it and it cracked while we did the tint, we did not do the tint “his guy” did the tint. He contacted GM and GMC filed numerous complaints and they denied any assistance, he purchased the vehicle 2nd hand not new. I have personally spoke to [redacted] and explained that we did not break his dash he confirmed that” he was not sure when it happened and that GM has a lot of money and they should pay for it.” I then stated that he would be responsible for the repairs, we offered to do the repairs at a discounted rate at the time for him. That offer does not exist at this time. And we do not accept any responsibility for this concern. Ed T[redacted] | Yates Buick GMC | Director | Automotive Services13845 W Test DriveGoodyear, AZ 85338 P  [redacted]  M  [redacted]  F  [redacted]EMAIL [redacted]  | WEB [redacted]

After discussing the case with senior management, our position has not changed. We are not accepting any responsibility for this concern.  Ed T[redacted] | Yates Buick GMC | Director | Automotive Services

When Mr. [redacted] brought his vehicle for an appraisal in November, we provided him with a fair-market appraisal.  We would be more than happy to re-appraise the vehicle if Mr. [redacted] would like to set up an appointment to do so in order to attempt to resolve this issue.   Thank you,Brent N[redacted]General Manager
