Mr [redacted] first called for a vehicle inspection He brought the vehicle in for an inspection and we found that he tried to have the vehicle inspected previously by another garage and it failed emissions We checked it on computer (at no charge) to see if the vehicle computer monitors were ready to be inspected and they were not We did tell him that we could give him a day inspection because his previous inspection was expiredHe also asked at that time if we could replace his valve cover gasket and give him an estimate on a timing belt replacement So on 11/7/we gave him a day re-inspection and replaced his valve cover gasket at his requestTotal cost was $with no charge for hooking this car to the computer He was informed to keep driving the vehicle until the computer monitors reset and that he could stop in at anytime and we would check for him free of charge. On 11/10/the vehicle was towed back to us and customer complained that the valve cover gasket was blown out again After a closer look we found cracks in the valve cover itselfThe crack was not noticed previously because when the car warmed up is when the cover leaked We repaired at no cost with the exception of the valve cover cost from a junk yardTotal $38.93Then the customer called and said that he had anti-freeze leaking and brought the car in for repair We found that it lost most of its anti-freeze and there was a coolant bypass hose leaking The bypass hose was repaired and anti-freeze was refilled Total cost was $102.96.The customer then called and said the vehicle was over heating and that there was no fluid in it We told them that they would have to get the vehicle back down here for us to check outWe have no idea what is wrong with the vehicle at this point We do want to point out that the customer "managed to get it home" after he said after he "lost" all his oil I can only assume he drove the car home without oil Next he drove the car after he over heated and lost all his anti-freeze We told him that you cannot drive the vehicle without oil and/or anti-freeze in the vehicle because he will ruin the motor or possibly blow a head gasket We gave this man a very good deal on everything we did and tried to work with him at every cost.We would also like to point out that this vehicle has been sitting or stored someplaceWe are assuming that it had a dead battery and this is why the computer monitors need to be reset and also why hoses need replacing etcbecause of dry rotThank you, R.BHacker Tepco Truck & Paint Co

Mr. [redacted] first called for a vehicle inspection.  He brought the vehicle in for an inspection and we found that he tried to have the vehicle inspected previously by another garage and it failed emissions.  We checked it on computer (at no charge) to see if the vehicle computer...

monitors were ready to be inspected and they were not.  We did tell him that we could give him a 10 day inspection because his previous inspection was expired. He also asked at that time if we could replace his valve cover gasket and give him an estimate on a timing belt replacement.  So on 11/7/16 we gave him a 10 day re-inspection and replaced his valve cover gasket at his request. Total cost was $105.76 with no charge for hooking this car to the computer.  He was informed to keep driving the vehicle until the computer monitors reset and that he could stop in at anytime and we would check for him free of charge. On 11/10/16 the vehicle was towed back to us and customer complained that the valve cover gasket was blown out again.  After a closer look we found cracks in the valve cover itself. The crack was not noticed previously because when the car warmed up is when the cover leaked.  We repaired at no cost with the exception of the valve cover cost from a junk yard. Total $38.93Then the customer called and said that he had anti-freeze leaking and brought the car in for repair.  We found that it lost most of its anti-freeze and there was a coolant bypass hose leaking.  The bypass hose was repaired and anti-freeze was refilled.  Total cost was $102.96.The customer then called and said the vehicle was over heating and that there was no fluid in it.  We told them that they would have to get the vehicle back down here for us to check out. We have no idea what is wrong with the vehicle at this point.  We do want to point out that the customer "managed to get it home" after he said after he "lost" all his oil.  I can only assume he drove the car home without oil.  Next he drove the car after he over heated and lost all his anti-freeze.  We told him that you cannot drive the vehicle without oil and/or anti-freeze in the vehicle because he will ruin the motor or possibly blow a head gasket.  We gave this man a very good deal on everything we did and tried to work with him at every cost.We would also like to point out that this vehicle has been sitting or stored someplace. We are assuming that it had a dead battery and this is why the computer monitors need to be reset and also why hoses need replacing etc. because of dry rot. Thank you, R.B.
