So far so good :)Everything I have told John P***, that I found wrong with my truck he has fixed I was very nervous about ordering online but he has made my experience great Thank you Kristi

The following is a copy of a consumer complaint I sent to the Arizona Attorney GeneralThe same copy is being sent to numerous entitiesI am not enclosing all the attachments in this review--------My son traded in a nice Dodge Ram 2WD for a Dodge Ram diesel 4WD because he is moving to Maine and wanted a heavy duty truck from Arizona that wasn’t a rust bucketWhen we left that day with the truck and started heading home to Casa Grande from Scottsdale--BOOM! Something blew in the engine and we then found ourselves stranded on the I-for hours waiting for a tow truck and a loaner carI think we finally got home close to midnightThat should have told us right then to renege on the deal and get my son’s trade in back, but the salesperson, Billy swore up and down that the truck would be 100%Once my son finally got the truck back he decided to do a thorough inspection on it himselfAfter climbing under the truck to examine the frame he found that they painted over a badly rusted mess that just flaked away at the touchSo, I told my son to spend the money and get the history on the truck from Car Fax(copy enclosed) Billy assured us that it was an Arizona truck when in reality it was actually from CanadaMy son wanted to keep his tires from his trade in because they were brand new, but he wasn’t able to keep the wheels because his were lugs and the truck he purchased was The person that was switching out the wheels and tires not only didn’t bolt the wheels properly, they weren’t torqued, and they were counter balanced and just plain out of balanceIt was so bad that as soon as my son left there he went straight to Discount Tire to have them done correctlyAt that time my son was made aware of the horribly rusted out and severely damaged rear rotors on the truck--so bad that they had to be replaced immediately because they were hair line thin and had chunks missing out of them(picture enclosed) Truck Max was fully aware of the severely damaged rotors and danger they posed because they had put new tires on the truck before they were switched out with my son’s tiresThe truck is currently sitting in a mechanic’s shop waiting on over $15,worth of work that Truck Max refuses to authorizeThe mechanic said it will cost more to try to replace all the damaged parts in the engine then it would to just replace the motorHe also said that the motor is possibly not the original manufacture’s because the stock numbers do not matchThis does not include any of the computer components that also needs to be replacedThe month mile warranty expires on 5/13/16--tomorrow, because Truck Max has drug this out from day oneAnd the extended warranty company is claiming that they don’t cover any of the work the truck requires to be roadworthy and safe, although both warranties list the problems with this truck, as covered(copies of both warranties enclosed) According to “The Truck Max Guarantee” they do a “rigorous point safety inspection” which obviously is because upon further inspection of the truck my son found that the front u-joint was totally shot and had to be replaced immediately, the inner cooler was not secured because the main bolts that holds it on were missing and it was kept in place with zip tiesThe transmission had a very pronounced leak that had to be fixed and the piston rings are wastedThis is just the tip of the iceberg! I bought a SUV here through/with Billy The back gate hydraulic arms were broken and needed to be replaced Billy said that he had already ordered them and tht I would have them by the time I picked the truck up Nope, they weren't in yet I called him back a few days later and I could tell by his reaction that he had not even ordered them Finally, he received them 1/weeks after I took possession of the SUV Of course, I had to drive to him and that took more than hours Also, when I picked up the vehicle he indicated that I should receive my plates within "about days." My temp plate/tag was good for days After days I had yet to receive my plates I called Billy and after a couple of days he finally got back to me and said "sorry, we never did the emissions testing for the vehicle You can bring it in and we will do the testing for you OR you can do it yourself and we will reimburse you the $fee." Since I live minutes from TruckMax I decided to do so myself I called Billy and told him that I had done the testing and that the SUV had passed emissions He said that he would have a check in the mail to me the very next day After waiting days for the check I texted Billy and reminded him that I had yet to receive the check He merely tested back that he would cut a check right then and there and put it in the mail to me THAT was back in late June Two days ago I texted Billy again and asked him to send me the check He has yet to even respond back to me Billy made a lot of promises to me and I don't think that he followed through on a single promise When I wrote a review on *** the owner of Truckmax replied and he had most of his facts wrong(He had the make, model, and year wrong He also went on to say that he had sent me a check AFTER I complained via *** They did nothing prior to that Of course, it has been days since he supposedly sent the check and I have still yet to receive it Additionally, when I made the complaint via *** the owner decided to attack me personally Again, he did NOTHING until I made my complaints public There people are not easy to deal with Do NOT buy a vehicle from Billy

I purchased a truck from Truckmax in August 2014. I checked the CarFax, which showed it had been in an accident. I asked the salesman if it had sustained frame damage due to this accident, and I was told no, which I have in a text. When I put the truck on my insurance, my insurance company (State Farm) asked me if I would like them to get me a better interest rate on my loan. I said sure. They contacted me and said, we de love to help you, but we don't finance frame damaged trucks. I took the truck to a repair shop that has laser ability to detect frame damage. They told me they could see a small weld on the a frame. I paid over $30,000 dollars for this truck, and when I informed Truckmax of this issue, he still denied it. I will be seeking legal advice on this matter, as if I ever wanted to trade this truck in or sell it, it would have to be disclosed. Which will deffinantly depreciate the value big time. Also just over a year later, all the spray paint on the undercarriage has worn off, and rust is everywhere. The wax has worn off too and there are so many repaired scratches. I bought this truck sight unseen, and unfortunately fell in love with it. And I know now, love really is blind...

When we left that day with the truck and started heading home to Casa Grande from Scottsdale--BOOM! Something blew in the engine and we then found ourselves stranded on the I-10 for hours waiting for a tow truck and a loaner car. I think we finally got home close to midnight. That should have told us right then to renege on the deal and get my son’s trade in back, but the salesperson, Billy swore up and down that the truck would be 100%. Once my son finally got the truck back he decided to do a thorough inspection on it himself. After climbing under the truck to examine the frame he found that they painted over a badly rusted mess that just flaked away at the touch. So, I told my son to spend the money and get the history on the truck from Car Fax. (copy enclosed) Billy assured us that it was an Arizona truck when in reality it was actually from Canada. My son wanted to keep his tires from his trade in because they were brand new, but he wasn’t able to keep the wheels because his were 5 lugs and the truck he purchased was 8. The person that was switching out the wheels and tires not only didn’t bolt the wheels properly, they weren’t torqued, and they were counter balanced and just plain out of balance. It was so bad that as soon as my son left there he went straight to Discount Tire to have them done correctly. At that time my son was made aware of the horribly rusted out and severely damaged rear rotors on the truck--so bad that they had to be replaced immediately because they were hair line thin and had chunks missing out of them. (picture enclosed) Truck Max was fully aware of the severely damaged rotors and danger they posed because they had put new tires on the truck before they were switched out with my son’s tires. The truck is currently sitting in a mechanic’s shop waiting on over $15,000.00 worth of work that Truck Max refuses to authorize. The mechanic said it will cost more to try to replace all the damaged parts in the engine then it would to just replace the motor. He also said that the motor is possibly not the original manufacture’s because the stock numbers do not match. This does not include any of the computer components that also needs to be replaced. The 3 month 3000 mile warranty expires on 5/13/16--tomorrow, because Truck Max has drug this out from day one. And the extended warranty company is claiming that they don’t cover any of the work the truck requires to be roadworthy and safe, although both warranties list the problems with this truck, as covered. (copies of both warranties enclosed) According to “The Truck Max Guarantee” they do a “rigorous 120 point safety inspection” which obviously is false because upon further inspection of the truck my son found that the front u-joint was totally shot and had to be replaced immediately, the inner cooler was not secured because the 2 main bolts that holds it on were missing and it was kept in place with zip ties. The transmission had a very pronounced leak that had to be fixed and the piston rings are wasted. This is just the tip of the iceberg! The one and Only thing that Truck Max fixed was the transmission leak and they kept the truck for over 2 weeks. I called and tried to get the $2000.00 back for the worthless extended warranty since they refuse to honor it and they told me that I have to go through Truck Max to get that money back and of course Truck Max refuses to accept our calls and the last contact with them, which was through a text, Billy said to contact their attorney. (copies of all texts enclosed) The truck was purchased on 2/13/16 and my son had to go until the end of April before he finally got the plates for the truck. He had to drive for over 2 weeks with expired plates and when we went to Truck Max personally and told them we wanted the plates, they gave him another temporary that was only good for 4 days. Truck Max sold my son’s trade in within 2 to 5 days of him purchasing the truck from them. More than 2 months later, the bank that had been financing his trade in started calling my son everyday telling him he was delinquent on his payments by 2 months and were going to take him to collection. I have all the texts that transpired between my son and the salesperson, Billy, including the last one showing him to be very sarcastic and refusing to honor their own warranty. I have information from the Revdex.com and an alert that they don’t resolve issues, as well as their rating of “F”. They claim to be members of the Revdex.com when in fact they are not, plus I have many very bad reviews that others have posted on the Truck Max company. (all copies enclosed) You can check for yourself at [redacted] and of course the Revdex.com for starters. I am getting full cooperation and support from the mechanic and he is documenting everything that is wrong with the truck and what needs to be done to make it safe and roadworthy. In all my years of purchasing vehicles, new and used, I have never seen a company so reckless and so irresponsible and so willing to put the lives of innocent people in danger be selling vehicles that have no business being on the road. These people are going to kill somebody--if they haven’t already. I have plenty of evidence proving how dangerously bad off this truck is when Truck Max sold it to my son. I am in the process of obtaining an attorney and have already contacted several, because I will be filing a law suit on Truck Max. I have contacted the finance company that is currently financing this truck and notified them of the current events that are taking place at this time. I have notified the Revdex.com and I have contacted 4 news channels and the local newspapers, as well. And I am utilizing as many media outlets as possible. I am making You, the Arizona Attorney General aware of this situation and I am also sending a copy of this complaint on Truck Max to the Washington DC Attorney General. Nobody should ever have to go through what my son and myself have, and I will do whatever it takes to prevent Truck Max from hurting anymore innocent people. I hope I can get your help and support in this matter. [Although the truck was sold to my son, I have been present and involved every step of the way and a witness to every event that has taken place with regard to Truck Max, and because I have greater experience and more time available than my son does I am taking the lead in this matter for him.]

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Wow I already spoke to  [redacted] how you told me to tell them it was a Z71  and had premium sound Which the vehicle had neither. Plus I never applied for a job with them. I can see now why your not a member with the Revdex.com. Truck Max is the not a reputable company and i will spread the word. I can see the direction I now will take. All this over 500.00 deposit which I was never told was not refundable till after I decided I didnt want the truck.Regards,[redacted]

If I could rate this company lower I would in a heart beat. this is a shady dealership who says they do 40 point inspections but I can prove they dont do any of that at all. I purchased a 2008 f150 fx4 4 months ago and regret purchasing this lemon that they knew was a lemon. On my test drive I noticed a check engine light come on and took it to auto zone, it was an ecm board that needed to be replaced. I brought that to their attention and they decided to fix it. While it was at the shop I later found out a month ago that the dealership told truck max several things where wrong with the truck and truck max failed to notify me of what they found. Furthermore the 40 point inspection they did was obviously not done as I had to take the vehicle back to the shop 4 times in the last 4 months and I have had to spend a total of 5k on repairs.

I contacted truck max with a reasonable solution, I asked for $600 back towards repairs since they knowingly sold me a defective vehicle. They agreed and promised to do so but played games with me and my girlfriend saying the owner had to approve it, finally the owner approved it but never came down to sign the check, 2 months later and 100 calls later we finally went into the dealership where BILLY who we purchased the truck from told my girlfriend he never said any of those things and they will not give us $600 they promised.

If you are considering buying a truck from this place, do your research, get the truck inspected by trusted shop because most likely your buying a lemon

very very bad business , I purchased this car out of state from truckmax and also traded in a vehicle. well he sent the paper work for the vehicle I was purchasing, I filled out the paper work and mailed it back to him as I was waiting for the truck to be delivered. once the truck was delivered he said he was going to pick up the car that I was trading in. well the delivery guy had no ide that he was supposed to pick up my vehicle so I waited 46 days exactly before he came and picked the car up. in all that time I had to keep making the payments on the car I supposidly traded in. once the car was picked up he called me and told me he recieved it. everything was fine and then he called back and said he did not want he car. so he sent the car back to me and when the delivery truck got here he told me that I owed him 570.00 dollars for shipping charges. so far this is where I am as of now. not a great place to do buisness.

So far so good :). Everything I have told John P[redacted], that I found wrong with my truck he has fixed.

I was very nervous about ordering online but he has made my experience great.

Thank you

Be careful with these people it took me almost (4) years to get my title and was lied to about it several times. I would never buy a car from them again

I bought a SUV here through/with Billy. The back gate hydraulic arms were broken and needed to be replaced. Billy said that he had already ordered them and tht I would have them by the time I picked the truck up. Nope, they weren't in yet. I called him back a few days later and I could tell by his reaction that he had not even ordered them. Finally, he received them 3 1/2 weeks after I took possession of the SUV. Of course, I had to drive to him and that took more than 2 hours. Also, when I picked up the vehicle he indicated that I should receive my plates within "about 30 days." My temp plate/tag was good for 45 days. After 45 days I had yet to receive my plates. I called Billy and after a couple of days he finally got back to me and said "sorry, we never did the emissions testing for the vehicle. You can bring it in and we will do the testing for you OR you can do it yourself and we will reimburse you the $20 fee." Since I live 40 minutes from TruckMax I decided to do so myself. I called Billy and told him that I had done the testing and that the SUV had passed emissions. He said that he would have a check in the mail to me the very next day. After waiting 10 days for the check I texted Billy and reminded him that I had yet to receive the check. He merely tested back that he would cut a check right then and there and put it in the mail to me. THAT was back in late June. Two days ago I texted Billy again and asked him to send me the check. He has yet to even respond back to me. Billy made a lot of promises to me and I don't think that he followed through on a single promise. When I wrote a review on [redacted] the owner of Truckmax replied and he had most of his facts wrong. (He had the make, model, and year wrong. He also went on to say that he had sent me a check AFTER I complained via [redacted]. They did nothing prior to that. Of course, it has been 6 days since he supposedly sent the check and I have still yet to receive it. Additionally, when I made the complaint via [redacted] the owner decided to attack me personally. Again, he did NOTHING until I made my complaints public. There people are not easy to deal with. Do NOT buy a vehicle from Billy.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
