We may of not have replied back,right away with an email as they were requesting us to do, due to excessive work load here at truck time and they continuously were calling us over and over inquiring for information that as far as we knew had been sent alreadytherefore we had no idea they had not
received itafter all was said and done emails were sent and received by customer, they proceeded to install engine, after the engine installation was done and over with we received a call from customer stating engine was not running properly, we took immediate action into having our diesel engine experts inspect thoroughly they found that reason for engine not running properly was due to a bad customer not replacing Egr Valve as advised and the boost control was not installed properly therefore it was not to do with the engine but with faulty installation of many different things

Review: I bought a 2010 engine for an F150 truck and paid Truck Time Auto Wrecking located at 3618 Omec Circle Rancho Cordova, CA 95742. The sum of one thousand four hundred sixty-two dollars and fifty cents ($1,46250) on Jan 30 2015 around noon time. At purchase time the salesperson named [redacted] and [redacted] told me that the engine carried a six month warranty.The truck that I own is a 2006 which is the kind of engine I was looking for so I asked the common sense question "will it work?" both men said YES according to their knowledge they said I will have to make a few changes which at this time the salesperson named [redacted] pointed out some instructions from his computer and gave them to me.On the week of the 7th thru the 10th of February I worked on it taking the old engine out and using the instructions given by the workers at Truck Time Auto Wrecking we followed them to the tee we started the engine and ran fine for about ten minutes. Then there was a loud noise the engine stopped and froze and didn't want to start anymore. On Feb. 11th I placed a call to Truck Time Auto Wrecking and explained what had happened to the engine to [redacted]. At that time [redacted] said he would call me back because he needed to talk to his boss.Two hours went by and he never called me back. When I did he said to bring the engine over. I was thinking they were going to honor the verbal warranty.When I got there to my surprise he sent me to this place MY FAVORITE AUTO REPAIR and the person there opened the engine up and discovered that the engine had one broken piston at which tie the personal call at Truck Time Auto Wrecking said loud and clear that it was my fault and that they would not refund any money nor replace the broken engine. I like to get refunded the purchase price of the engine and miscellaneous which is engine oilantifreezetransmission oiland manpower (helpers)water pumptiming chainwhich all comes to nine hundred dollars ($900.00)making a grand total of two thousand three hundredsixty two dollars and fifty cents ($2362.50)I don't want to get another engine from them because of this issue.Desired Settlement: To get a refund the purchase price of the engine and miscellaneous.

Review: I have bought an engine for 2004 f 150 from truck time,at first they told me that the engine had70,000 mile,when I got the engine for f150 they sent an engine for f 250 called the place theytold they only sell long block starkiss the sales rep told me its a good engine, after mechanic shop installed the engine. the engine was no good according to mechanic it had loud noise.after further investigation found out that the engine they sold to had over 140k mile,called up the truck time told them the situation they told me they will refund the money for $2150 which I paid labor to install they told me they wont cover that,when they picked up the engine the next day they told me that the engine they got its not the engine they sold to me,its the same engine I told them why would I give you different engine,so now I am looking to sue them as I found outthat they use this trick on all consumers,so they dont refund their money,I saw a complaint same as mine on yelp please help me resolve this problem without going to court as it takes long timethank youDesired Settlement: I want the $2150 I paid them back
