I am rejecting this response because:Per reading the statement from Tucks Unique with the written
statement advised that the they were verbally advising the 500 miles retorqued/retightened and alignment. Per
discussion there was no discussion on returning when the truck had 500 miles verbally
nor in written agreement. There for
Trucks Unique are fully responsible to repay for the damaged that was
done to my vehicle. At no time at all was there a discussion to return and to
get my bolts tighten per putting 500 miles. This does not have anything to do
on reading the owners manual it has to do with owning up to their qualities of
work. My repairs were done @ [redacted] in Flagstaff AZ and there it clearly states that were the vehicle was
lift failed to tighten bolts a was not done correctly to my new 2015 GMC
Sierra. If this matter does not get
resolve I will be taking this to a legal matter.

At the request of Mr. [redacted], we installed a leveling kit
and over-sized tires on his truck on Monday June 15, 2015. He inspected the vehicle in broad daylight and
paid the balance due also on June 15, 2015.
The next day Mr. [redacted] informed us that he was able to see some...
“hairline
scratches” on his wheels. We were not
made aware of this at the time he picked up the truck.
We next saw the truck on Wednesday June 24, 2015, nine days
later. The “hairline scratches”
identified by Mr. [redacted] could not be seen while simply looking at the wheels at
a normal standing distance and he admitted that they were very difficult to
see. As explained, all aftermarket wheels and tires
are mounted by machine and thus it is common that minor imperfections may be
created during this process but these are very difficult to see without
focusing on them at close range. We are
not sure of the perfection of these wheels when they arrived here but if you take an extremely close look at just
about any product, minor imperfections can be seen by having your eyes within
six inches of the surface, with vision at the correct angle and in the correct
light. Mr.
[redacted]’s complaint that “when I got my truck back, my $3000 rims were scratched
up in big circles from mounting the tires” is obviously a grotesque exaggeration since he did not see them when he picked up the truck.
In our last communication with Mr. [redacted] on July 2, 2015,
we responded to his request to repair the minor imperfections with the
following:
To answer your question, the wheels
are chrome plated. Chrome plating is a shiny, thin, hardened finish,
which means that the chrome plating can become dulled by attempting to remove
minor imperfections. In addition, too much rubbing can cause dips in the
finish or result in a thin finish that eventually chips off. We do not recommend that you attempt to have
these minor imperfections removed otherwise the chrome plating may be
damaged. The wheels looked great when they left here on July 15, 2015, and
they still do.
Our reasonable response seems to have fallen on
deaf ears. We do not repair wheels nor
do we know any “wheel repair specialists” who would attempt to “repair” such minor
imperfections on a great looking set of wheels and of course replacement of the wheels is
unnecessary. However, if Mr. [redacted]
would like us to make an attempt, knowing full well the likely end result as
described immediately above and sign a waiver of damages, we will have the
waiver of damages prepared and schedule the “repair”.
