This business is a scam and their services are a scam I ordered a mobile hot spot that uses their service "Internet on the Go" and its been weeks and about or phone calls and I'm still unable to use the hot spot I purchased The original hot spot was broken, I knew it when I first got it but it took weeks and at least or phone calls to get them to send me a new one Once I got the new hot spot their online account doesn't give you any ability to register another device once I registered the original I am now on my 2nd call to customer support in the last days to get this fixed I either get "our system is down call back tomorrow" or "we will escalate this to our IT staff" Which in the past simply send me an email with a PDF version of the booklet that came with the hot spot and is no help at all AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have absolutely no idea what they are doing. They lie. They don't return phone calls and claim they did. They even claim they left voice mails when they didn't. They have no clue how to fix their phones via telephone. They require me to send them my phone to fix it or replace it, leaving me without a phone for the entire time.
This company has gone down hill fast. I haven't had service on my mifi for close to six months. Truconnect topped off my account and mysteriously the money would disappear and the device wasn't even active. Constant complaints about inactive service and the fact they still owe me 20.00 went unanswered. A promise to call back several times never occured. The website is useless. This went on for 6 months. Today I terminated the service and was given a confirmation #. We will see if it truely gets terminated. I am filing a complaint with the state attorney generals office, as I can't phantom people being this incompetent , unless there is an alternative motive for such bad service. Take customers money and offer no service? Not a good way to go.
Horrible company, I had a similar experience with these is just like the other reviewer Andrew had, the hotspot device stopped working after a couple of days, they tell me that the data had run out even though I was still supposed to have data left, I was told this when I called again and the next employee told me I had data left, they didn't know what the problem was, they kept telling me that they will escalate the issue with the supervisor but nothing, they would tell me this everyday, after an entire week I finally decided to cancel the service, their website is also useless, AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If your account with TruConnect is the least bit complicated, their support center is not equipped to handle it. I have called many, many times to resolve the issue that my account is inactive. No one has been able to activate it. Very, very disappointing.
