Review: On May 26, 2014, I ordered a [redacted] unit from TruConnect. I received it June 3, 2014. I tried to connect it online, and the connection procedures given were unsuccessful, so I called the TruConnect customer service number. This was the first attempt. I have called three times since then, for a total of 4 calls. Each of the first three times, I was told my request would be "escalated" for immediate consideration, and I would be contacted within 48 hours, and once 72 hours. In each case, I was never contacted and had to call back. This last time, today, I was told to wait another 24 hours, while the problem is "escalated". I am becoming very frustrated, in that I have, in good faith, paid for the wi fi unit, and for an initial subscription, and after 9 days, still can't connect to the internet. There is no "local" number to call, and the folks in India who answer my calls, keep telling me they are going to escalate my request for service--with NO RESULTS.Desired Settlement: I want someone at a higher level than the folks answering the phone in India, to take charge of this problem, and get my device connected for me, PLEASE!

This is an update to my complaint filed on 6/9/2014.
After a fifth call to the customer support line for TruConnect, with a assistance of a young lady named [redacted] (in India), I tried once again to connect online with my [redacted] mobile hot spot modem.
Although [redacted] hasn't called me back yet, it appears that I can now connect to the internet via the [redacted], for the first time...after 5 calls to customer support, over a period of 9 days!
I don't know why the customer service folks couldn't have resolved my issue on the first try, on June 3rd, since it happened within a couple of hours this time, with [redacted]'s assistance, and promise to deal with the matter personally.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed, that the ability to connect will continue.
If that is the case, then my complaint would be resolved.
