Never finished job. Received payment in excess of services performed. Cost us money and placed us in danger having to cut large trees left behind.Trudel's cost us money, hours of work, and frustration. We have never been treated so poorly. I will gladly fund the cost of a polygraph test if Trudels wish to dispute any aspect of this complaint. I am requesting payment of [redacted] for excess payment based on number of trees and an additional [redacted] for yard cleanup and tree cutting). Trudel's quoted [redacted] to cut down 17 trees. That was expanded prior to start of job to 21 trees for [redacted] They promised to cut in lengths of no more than several feet, leave the trees, and clean the yard. We agreed to a separate [redacted] for stumps. In the end they cut down 17 trees but I had already paid [redacted] (an overpayment of [redacted] based on the original contact). Stump grinder paid separately. They dropped a number of trees and never cut them nor did they clean up the yard which is probably worth more than another [redacted] They quoted 2 days but they only worked 9 hours over several weeks after which they never came back. They even missed day 1 of the job. Day 2 was a total no-show, day 3 called saying they were late but would be there by 10 am and instead showed up at 5pm, dropped off their truck and left. They promised to be there on day 4 at 7 am but showed up at 4 pm, worked for an hour then left. This continued for a few weeks during which they would show for an hour or two and cut a few trees then leave. For weeks after they would leave apologetic messages promising to arrive the next day, or in 2 days and then blow us off and not show once again. Then the cycle would repeat itself. We couldn't believe that anyone could do this to a customer over and over again. They also failed to update the stump grinder on their lack of progress so he was forced to come back time and time again. Not only did Trudels leave a mess behind, and not cut the stumps to proper height for the grinder, but the grinding created a huge mess that Trudel's never came back to clean up as promised. Our yard was destroyed and branches and twigs blew all over causing countless hours of cleanup. They left some trees in 15 to 20 ft lengths (very large in diameter) which were dangerous for us to cut (they promised under 4 ft lengths). We had to use car jacks and logs to raise and cut them. In the end they also left 5 trees not cut down at all. I also had to replace a tire on my jeep after 4000 miles which appears to be related to the debris I was driving over for weeks. They don't want to work but have no problem asking for money which we paid in cash installments. Even when they did they would arrive many hours late, stay for an hour and then take off. For the first few weeks they left their boom truck on site so it's unlikely they were working anywhere. The last day they worked at our house for an hour after which they said the chipper truck was full and they'd be back in 20 minutes to work all night. They left for two hours, came back and took their light equipment and left never to work at at my house again. The next week they snuck the boom truck off in the morning and left a message that they were getting it tested for lightning strikes but would be back in an hour. They never came back again but strung us along for weeks with phone messages and false promises while they started doing other jobs on our street. When a relative confronted them they said they were sorry but needed some quick money and would call us that night but never did. We had been paying them all along but I guess too little was left for them to care about us. It took weeks of their lies and no shows before I called their "[redacted]" and told her I would be filing complaints. That resulted in one more voicemail and a promise to finish the following week. They never showed.Desired SettlementSee above. Seeking [redacted] for overpayment. [redacted] for cleanup not performed and trees which were left on the ground uncut. Frankly [redacted] for the latter is probably way under what we should be asking for.

We paid in full and the job has gone incomplete for over a month now. No communication with us at all! We hired this company to cut down a few trees. they arrived and did hat part of the job. e paid them in full s they said they would be back in the next day or two to pick up the wood and grind the stumps. The company did not show up for 3 weeks to pick up the wood. It took me telling them I was getting a lawyer to get them to pick up the wood. We were told they would come back in two days and grind the stumps. It has been a week and they have not showed up or responded to any of my messages.Desired SettlementI want the job completed and the areas where the lawn died because of how long the wood sat there patched with sod.
