My experience- filing a civil suit so please reach outI
I was quoted a price,. I double checked with the sales team that this price would remain the same throughout the move. I am out of state and my things are being picked up in a storage unit. I have no ability make sure my things are organized. I was charged $800 more upon pick up for space, although I did give them dimensions of the unit and was assured that it would be fine. Things were picked up on August 8th & I am still sitting in an apartment across the country without a bed or any furniture. I have inquired daily about the status of drop off, it has not left the pickup destination and has not been assigned a driver. I understand they have a wide timeframe to deliver (31 days they most recently told me, however after reviewing my contract I knew it was 15 days - pic attached) but I was assured by the sales team that this was a worst case scenario ( literally they said a tornado or car accident) and I should expect deliver in 3-5 days of pickup. I am not sure if this is normal but for what I am paying (nearly 5k, I anticipated a more timely deliver or at least a more clear timeframe)
I’ve called customer service and apparently she is fed up with me, after waiting on hold for 25 min she answers and immediately hangs up. I feel like I’m getting messed with and I can’t think of a worse way to operate a business.
I finally got my stuff delivered and instead of bringing into my new apartment they left all of my stuff in the parking lot after I handed them the cash. They said they needed a tip to bring the things inside.

NO SHOW/TOOK OUR MONEY AND RAN
First red flag is cash payment. They do this so you cannot get your money back or file a claim with your credit card company. This company has you sign a contract to allow a 3 day window for pick up so technically you can sit your entirely packed home for 3 days waiting. They state a call will be made within 24 hrs of the move to give you a 3 hr window of time. They NEVER, and we hunted them down until they gave us a window of 5 hrs to which they never showed up. RObin promised me the movers would be here in 2 hours and again never arrived. We spoke with the actual movers (True Blue is a broker which is another red flag. Only work directly with the movers). who said they were never contacted by True Blue in regards to scheduling drivers/movers. So the moving company never gave a window of arrival and True Blue made up arrival times. They also failed to contact us after the no show to give us any update. We called the next day to cancel as of course we could not trust them to take our things, and refused to refund us for services never rendered standing behind their "contract" that they have three days to finish the job even though they lied about arrival time. After we cancelled, we spoke with the actual movers and they said they were never notified of our cancellation so True Blue also did not communicate with their "scheduled" drivers. Either way, if you want any sense of security with your move, DO NOT use True Blue. Only use a company you pay by credit card and work directly with the movers and not a broker.

The movers were inexperienced and damaged items, walls and molding. What makes it worse is that the home I moved to is a new build. They also purposely moved very slowly and disassembled items that did not require that level of disassembly.Upon reassembling items, they did not put all of the washers back in the furniture. In addition, a dresser was broken and the supervisor did not even tell me. It was not until after the crew started packing to leave and I did my own inspection, that I found it. When I asked the supervisor, he did not say that he planned to tell me, he said only that he had taken pictures. I also found my child's bed had not been reassembled. The frame had been broken down into two pieces. It was laying below an upside down box spring and the mattress was thrown on top. There was only one young man assembling and disassembling. He did not even have a Phillips screwdriver and had to borrow mine. He clearly was not trained in assembling furniture.
A $200 portable freezer was dented, a $1600 bedroom set was scratched and not reassembled correctly. A $200 dresser was left for broke. One supervisor made the team tack it. A fan was completely broken.

The older gentlemen didn't move any furniture from my house. Perhaps they had the experience required to prevent some of the damage. Some of the actual workers looked to be teenagers.
I asked them to wear shoe covers at my first house. They wore them, but never changed them. They tracked dirt from inside onto the carpet. The carpet had to be shampooed again. This required more time and money. This was a bad experience and needs to be rectified. The exorbitant amount of time they intentionally took resulted in a $318 dollar increase over the estimated rate.

To account for the broken items, additional carpet cleaning and molding repairs, I am requesting a return of half of the 807 dollars I paid. I was leary when there were no reviews on the internet before I chose the company. I wish someone would have told me.

True Blue Movers Response

Date: Wed, Oct 18, 2017 at 10:39 AMSubject: Re: *** Complaint (***)To: *** <***@myRevdex.com.org>Dear ***,This letter is in response to the complaint ID number ***. The moverssent to her home were not inexperienced. Her walls had three abrasions marks, anda finger print from moving the furniture in the house. We have pictures of themarks before and after we repainted the marks with the exact color of paint that wepaid for. We also left her the pain as a courtesy. This customer initially called us for the $99.00 special that we were running at the time. She was told that the special was for a one or two-bedroom apartment. She was very insistent for the special. After a week she called us back and wanted us to move her at the rate for a house. She was given an estimate based on the nine items she told us she had. Her contract was for 3 to 4 men with a three-hour minimum. Thank God, we sent 6 people, because we felt like she was not being truthful about the nine items. Once we got there she had three times the items she initially told us. There was no way to move her any quicker. We followed all of her requests including taking our shoes off every time we bought an item in or out of her home. This slowed us down tremendously considering she had a entire 2 bedroom 3 level town home with garage full of furniture, but we wanted to make her happy. The three items that needed to be disassembled was reassembled correctly. Thisshe verified before we left. She told a supervisor that the back of her freezer wasdented while it was in the original box from the store packaged with styrofoam. Hefound no dent. This item also was not on her contract. As she stated we took pictures of the dresser before we put it in the truck, because it was scratched and about to fall apart. As a courtesy we put screws in it so that she could use it. All of her furniture was wrapped with blankets and shrink wrapped to protect it from damage. Most of her furniture had scratches on it, but she still wanted to blame us even though picture was taken of all her items before we moved them. We even took picture of all her furniture on the truck wrapped, because the supervisor knew she was going to be a hard customer to please, and she wanted a free move. There was no broken fan. Her carpet was not dirty, and was inspected by a supervisor and the person that touched up her wall. The carpet was never reported to us, and we would like to see the two receipts for having her carpet shampooed twice. If we can see the receipts we would be glad to pay for it. We at True Blue Movers work hard to please our customers. This was a customer we could not please unless we gave her a $99 move. Disassemble at one location, reassemble at a new location that was 30 min away, additional furniture, and taking shoes off and on at two locations could not be done in three hours. Two additional people, fixing furniture that was already broken, we didn’t charge her. We also did not charge her $149.99 per hour for the additional three hours; We only charged her $99.00 per hour for the three additional hours. Her savings was $152.97 for the three hours, plus 2 additional men for 6 hours which cost $111.00.Her total savings was $263.97. She couldn’t find anyone to beat our price. We have plenty of great references on our website, Facebook and twitter. This was the customer from hell, and we will not be refunding her any money;Furthermore, if she continues to report lies and slander our companies name we will take legal action against her.Regards,True Blue Movers LLC.

I am sorry to you! I have also had a terrible and expensive experience working with this sham of a company. Please reach out to me- filing a civil litigation suit and there are sooooo many like us who have been robbed.
