Review: True Green did not perform and or performed services late. When I met with service rep Jeff, he and I discussed my concerns about my lawn. I told him that I wanted no crabgrass, broadleaf and other weeds. They were consistently late and or did not show up to perform the applications needed. I usually received a phone call the previous day of scheduled applications and on more than one occasion they did not show up as promised. As of this date and the end of last years season, the weeds, crabgrass and broadleaf weeds still persist. The crabgrass and weeds last year were worse than I have ever seen and took over an extremely large portion of my lawn. I contacted Jeff via phone and he said that they would come and do another application, If they did come and do said application it was no help. I sent him a text and sent and an email to them and had NO response. They were constantly trying to 'up-sell' me (servicing shrub and garden beds, for instance). On 2 occasions I got phone (one last week) calls asking me about an inquiry that I supposedly made about their services. They DID NOT even check to see if I was using their services. I informed them that I had used their company and explained my concerns they said they would talk to a manager and call me back. When I was called back again the 'UP-SELL'. I was offered a very minor discount if I signed again and the 'UP SELL on the gardens/shrubs`. I told them that the offer was not sufficient. I was told again that he would speak to his manager and call me back. I am still waiting for that call back. After speaking with some friends about this company it seems that this is their mode of operation. They cancelled their service with True Green due to the lack of service and are willing to give me a letter attesting to this. I paid True Green $555.68 up front last year and feel that it was a waste of money.Desired Settlement: Refund of money spent for service contract with True Green, $555.68.

I DO NOT want any service as compensation for the bad service.

True Green did not perform and or performed services late.

Results of service were not as I contracted for.

TruGreen contacted the customer and visited the property on Feb 26th and March 4th. On Feb 26th we met with [redacted] and on March 4th we met with [redacted] 2015 was [redacted] first season with TruGreen.

TruGreen recommended an aeration seeding of [redacted] property to thicken the lawn where crabgrass and weeds had grown. (Aeration/Seeding was not in the program for 2015.) The aeration would also open up the soil which was very compacted during 2015. We also recommended that in some areas in the front yard the soil be cleared of small rocks/pebbles. These small rocks caused the grass in these areas to become stressed and die out in the heat of the summer. The draught conditions during the summer of 2015 particularly stressed out these areas. The resulting conditions were crab grass in these areas. Additional top soil would be needed to prepare the ground for seeding.

Other areas of [redacted] lawn had weed activity and would benefit from continued lawn care treatments. More frequent watering of the property would be needed

After discussing our recommendation plans for 2016 and offering an aeration seeding of the property, [redacted] declined. TruGreen will refund [redacted] service payments for 2015.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The resolution is a total refund of any money paid to True Green in the year of 2015.

Review: The work performed was not what was sold to me from the salesmen. Was promised a lush green lawn which never materialized. Had some problems the first season in which the company was willing to work out. The second season was not as fortunate. Was scheduled for a slit seeding procedure and was notified via a voice mail that the treatment was going to be done on a Monday and before I could reach out for the company to cancel the treatment because I was not happy with the previous years treatment, it was performed on a Friday. I called and complined and cancelled the service because I was absolutely not happy with service. Spoke to several people from the company who at best would get back to me several days later. Finally recived an email from [redacted] telling me I had a zero balance and since have recieved severl collection notices for $1423.10. I refuse to pay because they did the work that was not wanted and did not stick to their own schedule. I have had the run around from the company and have fowarded the collection notices to the company and have not heard anything from them. Through my discussions with the company to get me back as a custumer they have repeatedly told me I have a zero balance and would work with me in the future. I am in possession of the email stating such conversation stating zero balance. I have impecable credit and will not stand bye while this company tries to bully me through a proxy collection company.Desired Settlement: Remove me from the collection agencies grip and acknowledge that their is a zero balance as has been stated in the email from [redacted] the manager from True Green. Finally a letter stating that the issue has been resolved with no further action, or any adverse action towards me.

Review: In spring of 2014, I entered into a service contract with True Green for the maintenance of my lawn. I was very pleased with their services, so in Spring of 2015, I decided to continue with their sevices and this time I also prepaid the account in full. I am "VERY DISSATISFIED" with their services this year and on several occasions when I called to inform them, no action was taken to remedy the situation. I have crabgrass all over the lawn. I told them not to send the person who has been servicing the lawn. No one replied. Meanwhile, within the past two weeks, I received 3 calls from True Green asking me if I want to enroll for additional services. And everytime I told them how "DISSATISFIED" I was with their services and therefore I wilL NOT continue to do business with then in the future, they continue to call. The last call I received and demanded to speak with a supervisor from the call center in Ohio who proceeded to tell me that the only thing he can do is to make note on the account. And of course, I told him, Kevin, that I was not interested since they failed to fulfill their service obligation. This is very 'FRUSTRATING" and why, because I prepaid for the service that I did not receive and no one to turn to to remedy the situation and lastly, receiving additional calls for services I know that I am not going to receive. At first, all I wanted from them is to remedy the situation, since they do not want to do that and continue to harrass me; I WOULD LIKE A FULL REFUND FOR FAILURE TO DELIVER THEIR CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION. Please someone help me.Desired Settlement: Full refund.

I am rejecting this response because: what I accepted from True Green was for them to aerate AND seed the entire lawn on September 26, 2015. If they are unable to aerate and seed the lawn, I would therefore prefer my refund in full. The reason for the excess weed is NOT due to the heat but rather their failure to apply the chemical necessary to control them.
